With December quickly approaching I am sure many of you, both in the Holy City and around the wider Archipelago, have a seedling of anticipation and excitement growing within you. The first snowfall has just arrived, and decorations for Wintertide are no doubt soon to follow, and with them will come the giving of gifts and celebrations with family. Yet let us reflect on the past year for a moment...
We have all had a difficult time, filled with hardships and trials unimaginable -- the Dread War coming to a close, the Clicker Crisis, the rise and fall of both the Wardens of Purity and Covenants of Enlightenment, and the most recent conflict in Hadar, yet we have remained strong and stood united. The sun still shines on our glorious Empire, and we are stronger than ever, strengthened by these trials we have faced. But soon, for many, will be a time of respite. In this coming month of December the Archipelago will see peace, a kindness granted to the people by his Imperial Holiness, Emperor Alexander Kade of the Regalian Empire, and his High Grace, Archduke Ryker Lampero of Vultaro-Montania, Elector of Vicii.
It is then that each Noble and Aristocratic House will be granted 50,000 Regals to be given back to you, the people, to promote various services and cultures. So I will be the first to publicly make it known that House Eledhwen's goal for this season of giving is to spend each and every one of these coins on works of art (paintings, sculptures, or other mediums), clothing, and other yet undetermined services to promote the Leutz-Vixe culture and give back to those who often go unappreciated.
Some things to note!
- You will have until November 28th to consider just how you would like to try and represent the Leutz-Vixe culture, but make sure to send in a letter ((post below)) to make sure it is seen!
- I will be picking quite a few ideas, so don't hesitate to send one in!
- Make sure to enjoy this upcoming season, and stay safe out there!
