~The following notice was distributed and placed on noticeboards across the City~

Regarding the cockalorums of Old Town and the Declarations from the Recent Gangs.

I am fully aware that most of you are still acquainting yourself with daylight and the smell of fresh air after your long exile from the crapcacked cisterns of the Undercity so I'll be gentle on your feeble minds and try and explain this in terms that perhaps you ingrates will understand.

The Emperor decreed over a year ago that the Violet Order would not overly enforce Law in Old Town on a number of conditions:

Firstly, that the City would not threatened or attacked by the denizens within. Each declaration made by the up-jumped cutthroats that clutters the noticeboards around the City signifying a threat to the Violet Order or the murder of City Guardsmen will be responded to with action. We are thousands strong, you're a group of socially inept, shiv toting philistines that we have proven to easily beat back into the undercity time and time again. Force our hand to enter your territory and we shall. You have autonomy for as long as we grant it. You have Old Town so long as /we/ will it.

Secondly, that the locals of Old Town would not be subject to conditions that would make taxing difficult to perform. I am aware of the attack on the Velheim District and more specifically businesses there. I have yet to decide whether to launch an investigation, but I warn you, should such continue and the Emperor's due be put at risk, you'll be scraping the heads of your friends and allies off the cobblestones outside our gallows.

Thirdly, the City will not bow before the minority criminals that seek to declare territory as their own. If the Violet Order seeks an individual for committing a crime in the Imperial Isle or New Isle, any obstruction to justice by harbouring a criminal wanted by the Violet Order when we know where to locate them will be met with harsh punishment. We are not above maintaining stability between Old Town and the Civilised Areas of Regalia, but we will not tolerate a blatant disregard for the Emperor's Peace by spitting on our authority.

Summarily: if you wish to keep your freedom over Old Town, I suggest the person reading this to you illiterate degenerates highlight our stance clearly and concisely. Threats of action against the men and women who keep the innocent civilians safe will be seen as an act of aggression to the Violet Order and the City itself. You want Old Town, you have it on the above conditions. Do not force our hands or it will be your heads. Keep the Violets out of your business and we will keep you out of ours. You have been warned and it will be the only warning I will grant you.
Wilvahelm Algar Howlester
Lord Commander of the Violet Order
Imperial Court Marshal

Rennyn Caranis, stopped to take a look at the rather well written statement on the notice-board, only to throw his brows up and roll his eyes at the numerous claims they made. "Well then, seems we're getting chastised again.. Let's hope it stays that way." The crimson witch let out a huff and made his way back to the sewers.

Os Walt ensured his companion made as many copies as they both could possibly carry before they departed in opposite directions - cramming them into the hands of every good law-breaking citizen that occupied both Old Town and the Sewers with clear, concise instructions.

"Read this. Memorize it - shut up, don't argue, just read it."

Argylwyd deliberated over the words which the man who had read the pamphlet had said, pausing for a moment before a grin had spread across his features. He thought to himself "A shaky peace. Good for business."
