⚜ Founded in 309 AC by Vanectus Nomëssa in Crookback, Regalia, the Sister of Forgotten Pleasures began as a small courtly sanctuary, providing a safe haven for Estellians and their allies. After falling to destruction, some of its books were recovered and relocated to Root Court, where the Library of Forgotten Pleasures was established, alongside a small shrine dedicated to the Great Librarian.
In 312 AC, the library was moved to Floral Court, where ownership was passed to Wisteria Nomëssa. With recent patronage from the Sol Menveä Emmensëi Fanhamsaal, the library has now been relocated to bridge the beautiful districts of Fairbanks and Floral Court.

⚜ The Library of Forgotten Pleasures, is aligned with Estelley dogma and supported by both the Amontaari and the Regalian state, upholding Aseia as its principal patron. Its core values include the preservation of all knowledge, the recording of stories, and the nurturing of arcane education and mastery. The library is dedicated to the continual pursuit of political pro-magic missions keeping in balanced favor of the Arcanist Society and Aelrrigan order, upholding a high standard of responsibility over it's portrayal of magic. Importantly, the library endeavors to serve as a neutral and peaceful space, welcoming all who seek to access its literature. It also takes on the vital role of challenging biased Allorn narratives that permeate Estellian texts, striving for a more balanced and truthful preservation of knowledge.
-
⚜ The Library of Forgotten Pleasures is symbolised by shades of scholarly purples and mottled blues, though not worn as a formal uniform. The library's most recognisable symbol is its Aseia-devoted librarians, who wear traditional conical hats known as Aseyevila or Asevelan. This custom can be traced back to the original Aseia cults from the Southward Mountains in the Allorn Empire. Over time, these hats have become emblematic of scholarship and guidance in Estelley courts. Some say the different shapes of Aseyevila even have meaning such as taller points indicate longer lived wisdom, while ribbons of varying colors represent different research accomplishments. Moons and star charms are often seen dangling to represent Leyon and Aseia. Additionally, a caterpillar named Awry is featured on many of the library's transcripts, symbolising the continuous intellectual journey fostered by the library.

Due to the nature of the library being a shrine, job opportunities and membership have a few requirements though to be a regular patron requires none of the following:
-
⚜ Although none currently reside in the library, these scholar-mages are held in the highest regard by Aseia loyalists for their immense power and relentless pursuit of knowledge. Typically distinguished by their stone masks and yellow robes, they command the utmost respect and are granted unrestricted access to the library and its archives.
⚜ If you are looking for play an Esl-Maveral, plot hooks are open!
-
⚜ One step below scholar-mages, these Aseia loyalists are either aspiring to become Esl-Maveral or are devoted to the preservation of knowledge rather than its active pursuit. Recognisable by their cone-shaped hats, these librarians oversee the daily operations of the library and maintain diplomatic relations with neighboring libraries, educational institutions, knight orders and the Arcanist Society They also hold the privilege of unrestricted access to the library and its archives.
⚜ Currently played: Wisteria Nomëssa and Vanectus Nomëssa

⚜This simpler role is available exclusively to Estelley worshippers, come with perks such as access to the Estelley archives upon request and the opportunity to manage the library's café, serving as a welcoming presence to visitors. Estellian scribes in these positions are often tasked with recording missions, venturing into the realm to collect stories and knowledge to enrich the library's shelves.
⚜ This means that if your character is Estellian, they are automatically an Eternal scribe if interest is expressed. ANY Estellian character may claim to work at the library without needing an approval process, perfect for day to day roleplay.
-
⚜ Despite the libraries heavy Estellian themes, there is still a large focus on the space being for ANYONE, this role has been created for any character that is not Estellian but wishes to help out around the library grounds. This will come with the perks of access to the Estelley archives upon request and the opportunity to manage the library's café, serving as a welcoming presence to visitors, all similar to the Eternal scribe but without the opportunity for religious progression and will require an initial interview.
⚜ Players who pick this role need to be mindful of the libraries reputation and its dogma, please be respectful of this.
-
⚜ This role demands nothing more than a passion for learning and research. Thanks to the library's improved financial state, it now offers fixed salaries, as well as writing and research materials, to scholars who are willing to contribute to the library's collection.
⚜ This is the only role were a salary is offered! Of course, nothing but the best for those who push research forward.

Library overarching storyline
"In excellence were you cast; whether excellence in warfare or excellence at peace, and excellence shall you achieve, by every skill you possess...
Thus do we command it: You shall have need of your voices, now, to turn fiends into friends, and to mantle the stars, rather than hide away from them." - Leyon
There are those among us, like you, perhaps, who commit not only to personal excellence, but to the quiet, work of elevating the world around them. Not as martyrs. Not for glory. Simply because excellence, done well and without witness, is still worth doing.
Why does the Library exist? Why do those within its halls speak in hushed urgency with fevered devotion?
Because there is still so much left untold.
The Estelley story is not complete. The records are fractured, the Dread War still casts its shadow, Avinla remains petrified, Mana's temple in ruins, and Melca still mourns. Aseia writes endlessly, souls drift to Merjan in the hundreds, and now, even Sapphora stirs.
There is work yet to do.
Will you find your place among us? Will you mantle the stars along side us?
The library acts as a central ground for Estellian based storylines with various connections to other groups such as; the Vanyastra mercenaries, the Nomëssa and the Court of Nayëlen

The homeland of Estelley faith and its clergy in a wooded region. However, in-land pirates (corsairs) and Regalia's invasion on the principality 7 years ago has left it maladjusted, along with occasional raids from Bel Sin Silaan & Bel Hammon. Using a series of Elemental Gateways, the Vanyastra and Estelley court has travelled further inland of the coastal principality after being ticked off that there is a concentration of demons in the countryside.

A plea was made, a promise sought, that still echoes through the marble halls of the Estelley faithful. Now, the Library stands, quill in hand, ready to do all that must be done to bring back Morxxeron and to ensure his tale is never forgotten again.

"It did, Her death was unexpected. When it had happened, it could not be undone, and I was so driven to rage against the doer, that I might have killed her, too, were it not for... rapidly evolving circumstances, to demand that I stay my hand until our mutual survival was assured. And then, it having been assured, I found that I could not hurt her anymore, or perhaps I was not sure that I wanted to. So I retired, here. Where I have been, since." - Sapphora
Old friendships seek reunion. Old wounds long to mend. And still, one must ask, why does the Library show such interest in the return of the Khama gods? Why do its halls feel so heavy, its scribes ever weary, as if burdened by a pursuit that stretches beyond duty?

In the wake of its return from Amontaar, and under the patronage of Sol Menveä Emmensëi Fanhamsaal, the Library embarked on a renewed mission: to advocate for the rights, and uphold the responsibilities of pro-occult and mage-aligned movements within Regalia. Drawing from the traditions of Amontaari society, this quiet but purposeful effort seeks to instill a similar ethos where possible, placing emphasis on rigorous magical education, ethical practice, and the firm denouncement of those who wield the arcane with recklessness or malicious intent and those who oppress it.
Though the more voices, the better, the more showcasing such practice, the greater.

With the current Regalian State Sanction in effect, anticipation runs high for the fate of mages and groups alike sent out to assist the fiefs of Torse, Arlora, and Ruttgher. During this campaign, the Library became a hub of dialogue and decision-making. In doing so, it received its first true taste of politics. Now with fresh transcripts, perhaps more will be inspired by this.
