Military-First Political Lobby

{Introduction}​

Our Great Imperium lies in the heart of Humanus, it is the through the divinity of being Ailor that grants us the ability to commandeer Aloria and bring all others to heed. We march along the Great Way and further greater causes than ourselves.

With this, House d'Vaud moves to present the political lobby known as the Atramentous Crest.

This Order aims to promote camaraderie and celebration of the many great heroes of Regalia. Be they mighty heroes like our glorious Emperor, or common folk who have risen to higher callings, this Order shall honour them all. Their deeds will be recorded in the Hall of Heroism, their artifacts will be stored in the Hall of Relics, and their drinks shall be stored in the kegs that shall line the great hall.

The Atramaentous Crest aims to promote a military-first amongst the Regalian people and peerage and to encourage camaraderie amongst individuals of the Military. Being comprised of active members of the peerage and military, it will be establishing collective agendas to be agreed upon and aggressively lobbied for to enact proper positive change in the otherwise stale political scene.

Whence the lobby will be tied together through the Commissary, a formal position to act as a representative of the collective interests of the lobby. An independent voice whose tenure is beholden to those that vests their interests. The Commissary deliberates and controls the Agendas advocated by the lobby and decides on who might be brought in and out of the fold.

{Agenda}​

• Subjugating the Successor States of Rie through total domination; Either by direct land annexation or by establishment of client states with heavy taxation and freedom of movement for Ailors.
  
  
• Patronage of the School of Siegwald, School of Leadership and School of Bannership by vesting more funding.
• Fostering collaboration and better relations between Generals and Admirals.
  
  
• Innovation and further development of Regalian military tactics.
  
  
• The end of naval-centric elitism.
  
  
• Advocating that Proconsul Virathus will be hosting all of the peers who rank Baron or lower in his hope to enfranchise them, garnering a more involved lower peerage.

{Membership}
Every house has the opportunity to join, but it will be up to IC on whether they will be allowed to. Understandably, IC perspectives matter.

Entry into the lobby without prior invitation is often a grilling process limited only to those of military service to affirm their loyalties for the greater good of the realm. Not only is it necessary for them to be full-blood Ailor, they must also be believers in the primacy of Emperor Cedromar I and his divinity as host to the Imperial Spirit.

Although it is wholly expected that the lobby will be primarily held by members of the peerage, those without blue-blood will find it beneficial to work towards being part of the lobby to present themselves for all to see.

{History}​

Modelled as a lobby, it takes careful inspiration from Vasily Ostrovsky and Johann Eschevard's eminent organization in the opening months of 305 AC. Both individuals are credited as examples of military comrades whom held firm to their beliefs and devoted to the wholly greater causes of the state.

Following the ascension of Proconsul Virathus Krupp, and on the behest of stirring strife in Regalia. General Hamelin d'Vaud created the lobby on the behest of championing the cause of the military and to seize the momentum rolled by the Proconsul and Duke Reynald Typhonus.

Time will tell if the endeavor will bring about true change in the Imperium.

Includes Admirals and Generals. A footnote that being part of the lobby does not necessitate an exclusion at being part of another, it is however discouraged, and that a charter is completely different than a lobby.

Catering to militaristic individuals and houses that are both blue-blooded or otherwise. It will be a platform for such houses to make themselves more noticeable. Otherwise, due to time zones being a factor, that would be an OOC skype group that would be created to cater to the agendas of the group.

Addressed to Hamelin d'Vaud,

Aleksandr Ostrovsky, son of the late General Ostrovsky, maintains that the Atramentous Crest's appropriation of the ideals held by his late father and his comrade's organization alongside the usage of his name and image to propel their own agendas is thoroughly shameful and not in any way endorsed by the beneficiaries of the deceased. The Atramentous Crest is implored to cease and desist, to remove any and all reference to the deceased and endeavor to avoid doing so at any point in the future. Failure to comply will result in the appropriate legal measures being taken.
