• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

The Freeman's Society is a male-only, commoner-only fraternity for men with political aspirations. It is established in order to provide commoners with upwards mobility and involvement opportunities in the world around them by requiring members to support each other. Membership is determined by someone's ability to lead by example in the areas of virtue, faith, and service. This means that The Society can theoretically be very diverse, including the most virtuous guards and faithful crimelords among its ranks. For this reason, the identity of members remains secret.

Members are required to participate in all Society rituals. These rituals can include anything from an induction ceremony for new members and secret honor duels to resolve disputes. Nobody really knows what happens during these rituals. Members are also required to observe a Code of Conduct, which is established by The Society's Rules and Ethics Committee.

Recruitment into The Society is invitation-only and in-game, with few exceptions. It is possible to apply for membership in this thread, but members recruited this way will be subject to a mentor-mentee trial period before they are introduced to the rest of the group. This is done in order to determine whether the recruit is a good faith actor without putting the organization as a whole at risk.

The leadership of The Society is extremely chaotic. Elections are held every two weeks in order to guarantee that the membership remains active. However, elections are not conducted by votes for someone's preferred candidate. Instead, members submit anonymous reports of their achievements during the last two weeks. During elections, members vote for the most impressive report of achievements. The person who gets the most votes for their report is later revealed to be The Society's new leader for the next two weeks, guaranteeing meritocracy and activity.
