"To be of our highest society, one must appreciate the value of artistic expression and grace."

Being born into a higher social standing often means one is educated to a higher level than those around them. While this equates to academics it is believed that this does apply in turn to the appreciation of art as it is this expression of good and just society that will remain when all is dead and the parchments are torn to a state of illegibility. Yes, it is our art that will outlive us and so it is our art we must understand and appreciate.
It is for this reason that the Crown Art Social Club exists, to look at artistic expression within the Empire, be that in physical media such as paintings or statues or in vocal performance from plays, poems, and various forms of theatre. The Social Club is founded and headed by Lady Helena Keen.

The Social Club is relatively open to all, meaning that there will be some events that cater to the public, while there will be some designated to cater to specifically to members of the nobility, those in knightly orders with Imperial Respect, and the Unionist clergy. That said there is no membership for taking part in the Social Club, simply show up for whatever events fancy your interests to discuss relevant art.

Each gathering of the Crown Art Social Club will consist of viewing a piece of work and then discussing the nature of it. Why it was created and what it means for yourself as an individual and for the Empire. How you feel, the emotions you associate with it and so on. Even if it is a simple enjoyment of the composition, just an environment to view and appreciate artistic work.

Below this thread there will be an application to join the formal Crown Art Social Club with the stipulations made about nobility and others. This will put you on a tag list for any event postings related to the Social Club in the future. This is purely an outside resource, you don't have to sign up to be a part of the Club.
