The Cortez Family.
A note on Family History.
A Girobaldan smithing family that is known for its almost artisan creations. Many of the family weapons are often used as decorative pieces and have been popular in Girobalda and Daenshore. The Cortez family was known for its honest work in Girobalda and their unfaltering service to their local lords. The family eventually branched out and opened smiths across Girobalda, Regalia and Daenshore.
A note on Family Heraldry.
The family heraldry is rather simple, quadrants of alternating dark blue and white with a silhouette of a stag head over it. The family is also often associated with royal oak trees because of how the family has been perceived - that being a strong, well-rooted power locally. Lady's shine is also often associated with the family as a result of it growing nearby the family holdings and the shade of blue being so similar to the heraldry.
