IC Information:
The Burgundy Lounge is an exclusive, private societal club of Regalian citizens founded in the year 308 by Valarosta Ino-Femunn. While the exact point and philosophy has been left private and intentionally vague, she has made it known that only the most exceptional are accepted into the Burgundy Lounge.
Not much is genuinely known about the Burgundy Lounge aside from obtuse rumours that hold no genuine merit to them. The reasoning behind the secrecy is because of the elite members in the society -- some say they are sworn to secrecy through dark magics, others claim it is simply because there is nothing to gain from spilling the secrets of the Burgundy Lounge. What is known, however, is that large amounts of regals are spent on purchasing the most exquisite of luxury goods, including imported foods and rare drinks.
Initiation into the Burgundy Lounge is by invitation only by those already part of the societal club or, in special circumstances, application. The exact makeup of members in the Burgundy Lounge is unknown, which is entirely intentional.
