  • Core Concept
    • A master of the waves who was stirred from the bottom of the sea by warfare. A self-absorbed bleeding heart whose delusion of perfection is near impenetrable, for now.
    • Tanokh is dedicated entirely to his father, Xeradon, and the Deep Will, but he'd never say that. He moonlights as agnostic.
    • His leading goal is to improve the lives of water dwellers while on land, but he is frequently distracted by whims and an inability to see a problem without trying to fix it.

  • Appearance Information
    • Horns and fins line each side of his head, and smatterings of light blue scales litter his body. His true monstrous shape is barely concealed behind a more human pastiche; tendrils line his shadow, a shark's tail sways from him. Through his tail, his dorsal, and his head, Tanokh has six fins, six scale patches, and six horns.
    • Tanokh takes mostly after his Kathar half, with his Fin'ullen features being reserved to that which his father gifted him. He's broad-shouldered and built from years of pursuing panicked sailors, and on the taller end of things more often than not. His height is otherwise variable, as sometimes depth substantiates being shorter.
    • Tanokh's true monstrous shape is a long bulky body which reaches through the sunken world with tentacled feelers. A sharp, almost dragon-like horned head keeps a mouth full of rows and rows of shark's teeth. In the depths of the ocean, such a form is horrifically large. On the surface, it becomes bipedal and something more resembling an Allar. Tanokh's true form has six eyes, six horns, and six fins, and countless reaching limbs.

    Tanokh was raised to rip ships in half as a beast, and then tear through the survivors as a man. He is a fighter who thrives the most when in great groups or chaotic scenes, both as someone who enjoys drawing attention and as someone who benefits greatly from weaving in and out of the cover of allies. Tanokh usually crafts his weapons on the fly, but prefers tridents, fishing spears, and Fin'ullen blades.
    As a Xeradon Godborn, Tanokh has a particular advantage in the water.

    Heritage Mechanics (Half Kathar, Half Fin'ullen)
    • Kathar can change the alignment of any Spirit to that of Void, so long as the possess/own/control the Spirit. Void Spirits are always symbiotic for them also. (Swapped to God Magic/Primal Revenants due to Cult)
    • Kathar are not affected by the mental characteristics or changes of any Affliction or Affinity and are always in control of their own mind from them.
    • Kathar are able to look at a person and intuit their Corruption Desire, with OOC Consent (see below). Then, the Kathar can act towards this goal.
    • Kathar can use subtle vice-heightening curses on those within Emote Range, heightening their Pride, Fury, Avarice, Corruption, Rejection, or Hedonism.
    • Fin'ullen can perform great feats of strength out of Combat (carry multiple people, throw boulders etc.). They also gain +5 in out of Combat dice roll Strength competitions.

    Tanokh was born to be a master of the ocean. His talents center around control of water and control of lightning. Tanokh finds little use out of fire, earth, or other such elements. All things came from water, after all.

    Tanokh was born to be a master of biology. His skills, thusly, involve editing his own biology and the biology of others. Tanokh finds few limits in editing, but always requires a base, a muse, or an inspiration.

    Tanokh was raised to be a master of his own body. As an egoist, he is an expert in changing and improving himself. However, as an egoist, he is utterly incapable in editing the appearances or functions of others.

    Tanokh learnt this as an obligation to the people he has sworn to protect. It is undoubtedly his newest school, so he still has a fair few kinks to iron out.

Plot Hooks

    • Most who've met Tanokh know him as insufferably self-absorbed, with too much pride to fit his meagre accomplishments. It is an easy thought or action for many to humble him. Tanokh makes spectacle of pushing others boundaries, but oftentimes does not have the same bite to match his bark.

    • Tanokh, for whatever reason, cannot allow suffering in his ever so important presence. His recent intent has been gathering the Kathar of Regalia together to begin properly fusing them into the Regalian Empire, thus granting his people a home free of tyranny. He's very easy to pull into sob stories as a result, and overprotective of a group of people who could very easily abuse that protection.

    • Sailors tell tall tales of a whirlpool of teeth and arms. Though those rumors first perpetuated in the Boiling Strait, between Osc'iird and Rokhavaal, they've since moved to the edges of the Archipelago and sometimes as close as the Crown Isle itself.

    • Kathar share stories of a Dread War profiteer, taken by guilt and swallowed by the sea. The more paranoid Dread-loyalists might remember conspiracies of something being built under there, guarded by a six-eyed beast.
