• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hello all, this is just a little idea that might make things easier on everyone. As we all know, Regalia has quite a lot of market stalls, which serve as an integral part of the game's economy. My suggestion is simple; label each clump of market stalls. The names could be anything, a number or an actual designation, but this would make it easier for sellers and buyers to communicate where a certain shop is, as they could say "Stall group 3, red tent." This would benefit the economy, and be very simple to implement.

I would like to make a small suggestion for your suggestion which would be just to add street names to all the streets in regalia. This would solve the problem above and possibly many future issues.

Ah, I actually like that idea better. It would be interesting as well as useful.

Actually a plan such as already exists, I made this for the region setup of Regalia:

As you can see, a "hub" of stalls is called S(number)

G2VIq.png [DOUBLEPOST=1368735989,1368735842][/DOUBLEPOST]Lets take an example.

A player wants to find stall S30a.
They simply look for S30 on this map, and S30a will be found on a sign in the given hub.

That's excellent! Do you have any idea when such a plan would be brought in? I'm glad that this has been considered.

This plan has already been implemented. Look at the signs that show the rent or the name of the person renting the property. The label is on that sign.

^Yes as Yendor said, this is the setup plan which we currently are following.

Oh, I see now. That's interesting. I wonder if it's possible to publish this on the website, so that people actually know where to go when someone says to go to S(30a). This is quite helpful, and I'll definitely be using it. Thank you.

Would it be possible to add markers so that these numbers were displayed on the dynmap?

My project for today is to make a bigger and better map of the Merchant District and implement it into our website.
In regards of the dynamic map, that might be an interesting solution to this and I will consider it.

Thank you for the feedback and the great suggestion :)[DOUBLEPOST=1368907816,1368776457][/DOUBLEPOST]What do you think about this !

That sounds like an excellent idea.

I am open for ideas about the street names.

Please, do copy my image there and write in street names and post them here - but keep it thought through and working for the entire city of Regalia. I myself have limited time these days.
