• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Creators' Notes

Magivore:

  • Athletics has a reduced effect in this system due to the fact Athletics can be applied as a saving throw against many spells and mutations whereas Shielding can not.
  • Magic users can obtain obnoxiously high numbers for the reason that mages should not be fought alone unless you're extremely courageous or dumb.
  • Argument Breakers were made solely to quell the questioning and testing people do to minmax this system. They should not be used in ordinary combat unless all parties agree to it, especially concerning spell-casting times.
  • Full-plate was made as powerful as it is because only knights and certain Violet branches can use them. Plus, losing the fight as a person in plating means the winner practically wins their 800r armour.
  • Exceptions and more can be added to Argument Breakers if examples of minmaxing is discovered or by popular demand.
  • This system works best for mundane / low-fantasy brawlers.

Okadoka:

  • After a lot of calculating, even a Fin'ullen Altalar maximizing their numbers can still be tied by an Orc or Url at 30 years old. In this case, high-point races like Altalar and Avanathar become balanced out with high-strength races that have body stat bonuses like Half-Orcs or Orcs.

Chief:
