• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I left my stream on this evening while drawing something only mildly related to MassiveCraft. This however made me wonder some things, as I got asked questions in-game.

  • Should we as staff also stream freetime stuff?
  • Should we allow certain trusted community members have streams also, of other games?
  • Should I move the stream forum block to the bottom so the streams become less invasive?
And for those who wonder what I was doing during the stream, I was making this and planning my new minecraft skin:

I don't even understand the streams, have never used them, and have never seen a notification for one.
Sooo... Sure?

I have to say, I am quite impressed with your picture; it looks amazing. I have no artistic talent whatsoever. I like the idea of staff streaming along with other entertaining characters of this community. I have found that some of you guys are quite hilarious. I don't really mind where it is currently positioned; however, I don't mind most things. As I stated before, the company here is quite nice, and I see no point in restricting the streams to minecraft/massivecraft oriented entertainment.

But the invasion of privacy. Some streams may sometimes be on accidentally like Mon did here. He said it is a invasion of privacy and I agree to it. The person streaming should agree to terms for it like usual, stating that they are responsible for their actions on there and if they left streaming video on it is their responsibility to deal with it.

I didn't mean like always stream? I meant perhaps people stream cool things such as Rp events or maybe showing off a project that they are working on. I was simply responding to his thread post about staff and others potentially streaming. I fail to see how it would be an invasion of privacy if they are streaming a planned show/podcast/wahtever. If they left their stream on, and It is apparent that they did not plan to air whatever they are doing; I am sure someone would send them a Pm over the forums.

I don't really see anyone abusing a stream, if the "streamer" (Is this the correct term? Commentator?) comes from a regulated list of authorized members. Plus, if they do in fact stream some heinous programming, then the admins could revoke streaming access and punish the culprit accordingly. The viewer always have the ability to hide block or exit the window.

Yes, it would help us to determine how much you actually do and likely gather you up some more support, respect, and understanding. Basically, sympathy.
  • Should we allow certain trusted community members have streams also, of other games?
Yes, but only the ubertrusted. And never me lol.
  • Should I move the stream forum block to the bottom so the streams become less invasive?
Yes.

Wow, that turned out amazing! I love the music you were playing, who is it by? I couldnt read as I was on my phone watching it. As per the freetime streaming, I would love that, as it would make my weekends alot less boring.

I think that you should have a notion on the top informing people that someone is streaming.

But yes, having the entire stream on the top looks really bad.

Amazing picture(Y)
