• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Bits and Bobs.
  • Body Build Limit for Mages has been removed completely. This was largely done because in the past, Body Build would allow players to dictate combat competency. Now, with the Proficiency system, unarmed combat is dictated by proficiency and not Body Build. As such, the arbitrary rule that denied mages the ability to do weight lifting is now gone.
  • Weapon of Choice & Ambition have been removed from the Character Application Template. This was largely done because these two points are now seen as irrelevant for actual roleplay, and redundant because of them being re-stated in the Life Story and in proficiency/visual expansion.
  • Character Sexuality is now added to the Character Application Template. There wasn't a huge demand for this, but we noticed a minority of players aquardly adding it to their personality or visuals, which wasn't quite the right place to put it. For some character, as well as interacting, maybe it makes sense to add it. This won't change a whole deal for players except offer them the ability to record it. '
  • Character Kill Perms are now related to guards in a similar way that obstruction grants regular citizens and guards Kill Perms on criminals. Say for example a character poisons the water supply of a house with the intent to harm those living inside. This is called Surrendered Consent. This now also applies to guards who go above and beyond to disrupt, obstruct, disable or otherwise ruin the works of criminals, the rat court, and evil elements at large. These so called "Guard Enemies of the Slums" will only be defined by the Hellion Court, after which a public bounty will be placed on an individual guard member (of any charter), which automatically grants all registered gangs and their members kill perms on said guard. This rule is not retroactive active and will only be applied henceforth on guards who are considered to be public enemy #1 in the slums, and can only apply to one individual at a time. Such a bounty will only be placed with staff approval, and is meant to emulate the fact that paragons of justice and law who go above and beyond to irritate and obstruct the gangs would eventually be declared their public enemy and they would all want to have them dead, but it would be jarring for this guard to just reply with "no kill perms xd" when they finally try. Risk (being, making a name in fighting crime as an individual) needs to come with consequence (being that an individual becomes marked as public enemy). This is very relevant for @BullyTheScroofy @Fatherland @Svyatogorye , please communicate this to your members. The Prime in the Hellion Court can and will label a specific guard who ruin the general ongoing of crime beyond reasonableness as public enemies, which grants all gangs kill perms on them.

Asking for a re-review for template changes is not necessary!

Quick question: Are we still able to state an ambition and weapon of choice in a small spoiler with other facts and stuff? I still like to get my point across on what my character is working in or forward in life and what kinda of weaponry they use in a fast and accessible spot.
