CORE CONCEPT PLOT HOOKS

• Skully is a noblewoman with the instincts of a wanderer and the edge of a survivor. Used to life on the run she keeps her guard up, but underneath the sharp words and yappy attempt at wit, is a more calculating and soft woman. Equal parts blunt edge and careful tact, and never fully at ease -- she has fashioned herself both blade and velvet, forged by the pine barrens and polished by a legacy she doesn't want.
• • Skully openly embraces the utility of occult, but in a slightly more limited fashion akin to a purist. She will proclaim she is a limited purist when speaking with purists, but in actuality has a much more waffly and centrist view.

BACKSTORY RELATIONS AND TRUST ART/CUTE THINGS!

  A carriage transporting her and her family was attacked by sanguine when she was seven. Her parent fought valiantly, but all they could do is tell her to run to the wilderness and wait for them and she did. After several days they didn't turn up. She is completely unaware of if any part of her family still lives. All she remembers is her mother was sweet and her father was distant whenever he was present (which was rarely). She remembers her nana, and the warmth of home.
  
  Skully heralds from the southern part of the continent, having been journeying on foot since she was 13 with no real guidance. She lived off the land and through talking to the occasional tradesperson to pick up a survival skill, she had little to no social contact for most of her life. Now, arriving in Regalia, is set to figure out her place in the world.
  
  Before arriving on the Crown Isle, Skully had spent the last fifteen years wandering the eastern parts of the archipelago as a survivalist. She is an expert hunter. If your character hails from the rural regions of Baldmark, Hintercalem, Nordmark, or any of the neighboring provinces, you might have heard whispers of a different name. Not under the best of circumstances, of course- Skully, or her pseudonim 'Verenpine' was known as both a hunter and a thief, often seen wearing a carved wood mask. This visage was co-opted from a anti-sarn kind of fable WIrtem parents would tell their children about to scare them into staying out of the woods after dark.
