• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Discussion: Vampire Plugin Removed. Good or Bad?

Express your feelings in the comments below!

My Statement: Well I never really used the Vampire Plugin, though I have had a lot of run-ins those vampires. By god they annoyed me always screaming and everything I hated the plugin and when the Eclipse for 1 hour came the only good thing was the cake! That didnt even lighten me mood. So in my opinion it was great to get rid of them but I think the traits should be kept because people always like roleplaying as sometimes. So we need to keep the factionees and the roleplayers both happy and and it cant be centred round Factions all the time.

Feelfree to express your opinion in the comments/replies below!

Also please take part in the poll! Poll will last 10 days while this topic is still alive

I don't really get what was the problem with the plugin. I think it was a neat little feature to have, but not something I used that much myself.
>Inb4 raging pvpers

Neutral. I really liked the plugin and most of my time on Massive was centered on it. But I get why it was removed if it caused so much problems so whatever. I can makedo without it.

The plugin was a wonderful plugin. And it could have been a better plugin with updates. But from what i heard from staff a numerous times, it was unable to be updated. So i personally am glad its gone from a PvP standpoint. But i do hope a new version is released in the future (regalia only!!!)

I would really like to see what Cay could do with writing his own vampire mod. I'm sure it would be way bigger and betterer than the old outdated one.

Good. It was overpowered, imbalanced and glitchy, and will not be re-added, regardless of how many polls you make.

I hope that they we-write the vampire plugin, IM SO SAD ITS GONE. Why does everyone hate for!!....

WAIIIIIITTT so I thought Cayorion created the previous vampire plug-in? I've heard he has and hasn't. Gah this is confusing.

I think one of the greatest features of Massivecraft (one that had me coming back for more and more play and ultimately swayed me to become premium for more power) is the Massive traits plugin. Traits create unparalleled character diversity and having vampires made a stock set powerful PVP traits a bit too easy to obtain.

In addition, half the vampires I encountered really only used it to get the ghast screaming ability to troll RPers. Kind of annoying. XD

Cay did make the vampire plugin.... Its a MassiveCraft inhouse plugin but it was old, used old code and wasnt compatible anymore without a total recode of the entire thing.

I think it's good that it's gone. There wasn't much of a purpose to it, really.. To quote my horribly placed necro:
"What even was the purpose of the vampire plugin if we have traits for it? Like.. You guys mad about losing bloodlust or something? Was it even enabled? I don't remember it being enabled.

For those of you saying it's a part of Massive, well, yeah, but so was the old Regalia, but that's gone now isn't it? Time moves on. Some of you people seriously need to move on, tbh."
