• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

A second mission was sent out by the Supreme Chancellor in the ongoing search to the dead mercenaries who died in Jorrhildr at the hands of the Baal-Url. This time, a second mission led by Ania Howlester and Jared Kade was sent to track down a second Url Throng that would hopefully be less aggressive and give more knowledge and input about what the wicker men meant at the battlefield. Jared Kade was supported in his tracking by Ike Mordekai the Url and Skjald Wyvernbow the Dwarf, Vedrfolnir Berdalfsson the Velheimer and Ingemark Frederiksen, the Url. Having two Url in their tracking party paid off, as they were able to track the Url Throng fairly quickly, which was in the process of moving from one valley to another. While the initial encounter was rather tense, both Url and the Url throng exchanging calls for the Hunt from afar, eventually weapons were lowered and the groups were able to approach each other.

The Url Throng aggressively denied the close proximity of Ingemark and Mordekai, citing they were Url who had abandoned the call of nature and taken their gift for squandering. While Skjald and Vedrfolnir moved off with the two Url to keep them away from the Throng, the diplomats moved closer. Genevieve Howlester and Bartolomeo de Cana were the diplomats for the group, though the humor of their juxtaposition did not escape the Urls. They gave a hearty chuckle at the sight of Genevieve Howleste packed in three surcoats and five wool pelts at her measily nearly-dwarf posture and looking like a pinguin, faced with towering bulks of Url, massive horns and clad in barely any clothing due to their cold resistant skin. Their initial exchange was pleasant, they were able to explain their situation.

Serna Ashwood, Kaya Sorenvik, Gryft Sorenvik and Brynjar Sorenvik were called forward to explain what they saw in detail, the latter three doing so in Skodje which the Url could understand, having their own common being very poor. As their discussion was ongoing, one of the Url elders suddenly piped up, announcing that, when pointing at Julius Peirgarten, they were asking for a gift of a person to their tribe to become an Url. The group obviously became more guarded when the request was made, Julius Peirgarten likely not wanting to be turned into an Url, Azra min Eazim, Eyanaeil Faenin and Hamelin von Rahm stepped forward weapons drawn and ready to defend the party.

Luckily, Jo Haaven was able to break the tension by offering up her healing capacity on one of the wounded Url who was seemingly walking with a limp, to which the Url agreed. Tension abated for now, and while Jo started working on the offering exchange, one of the other elders spoke about the wicker men.

He explained that the wicker men in his own Throng or tribe represented the past lives of the Url, and that they were used to bring the Url in closer communion with the spirits of nature. He however cited that he had not heard of the practice of putting such wicker men inside suits of armor, or what this could mean. The trail effectively went cold when the others came to the conclusion that not all Throngs observe the same cultural practices, and that some of them rapidly change as new recruits are brought into the fold. Another elder spoke up and explained that, given the circumstances, the dead which were being sought would likely not be found. He recounted that Url do not take prisoners, and if they do, that those prisoners do not live for long as they were.

Defeated, the group was about ready to depart, but Genevieve Howlester was able to pry one last comment out of one of the female elders. As the groups were turned, she divulged two names of Url which she knew likely would know more, or at least be able to point them in the right direction, and she knew they were likely in Regalia. Magnus, one of the Elders of the Maw-Throng, the same Throng that destroyed a large portion of the Silverwolf Mercenaries, had recently ventured to Regalia to retrieve what she referred to as a "lost pup" called Othmar. She added that they should not be too hard to find given how public Othmar lived, and how Magnus would likely be "short to follow after". With the necessary respects afforded, Genevieve said her goodbyes, and the group ventured back to Regalia to report to the Supreme Chancellor about their findings.

But not before one final call from one of the Elders challenging Julius Peirgarten to venture into the wild of Jorrhildr again, alone, if he ever wished to shed his weaker form.

Azra bounced along the ship home, whistling a tune before calling, "Do I get to help with more stuff? I want to help find the Regalian Url!"
