My name is Bartolomeo da Cana. Upon hearing news of your call for an agricultural think tank, I picked up my quill immediately. I've spent much of my life tending to and cultivating gargantuan acres of sugar cane and other herbs, largely building my business and trade out of that field. I presently own several large plantations in Lusits, each tended to with upmost care and regularly revamped with the most modern agricultural regulations and equipment. Although I have not had much progress in Regalia or Mull, my properties in Lusits currently operate as innovative institutions for research on edible and medical flora-- Thusly, I would like to offer my services as a seasoned horticulturist for the Regalian Scholar Ministry. I write to you as to express my interest in aiding the Scholar Ministry's endeavors during this time of impending famine. Although I typically don't put botany at the foremost front of my skills, as an alchemist and a medic, I have acute knowledge of various types of plantlife and how they are grown. I do believe I'm qualified enough to help the ministry with identifying various ways to keep the city out of famine now that the threat of disease is gone and the quest for a cure is no longer needed.
