Regalian Diplomats Lobby

The Regalian Diplomats Lobby is an organisation created in the October of 306 AC by Baroness Anastasie de Letoirneau, in the hopes of restoring the art of diplomacy, as well as its essential supports of discussion and debate, to the forefront of Regalian society. Within its intents are included hosting regular debates - on both fixed issues, and those raised by attending members - to reignite an interest in the goings-on around the city and beyond, as well other exquisite events amongst those who share our ideas. As well as this, we wish to create foreign missions of envoyage in the name of the Empire, with hopes of spreading a sense of unity, as well as ensuring those ideas that we hold both in harmony, and in diversity.

The primary goal of the organisation is ultimately to reestablish an interest within Regalia in the field of Diplomacy and Politics at large - invigorating debate and helping the spread of ideas through the heart of Aloria, and the true political origin. In turn it plans to utilise this increased and revitalised interest in the name of restoring former strength within the city, and creating strong links between families and figures who may choose to involve themselves within the organisation.

Head of the Lobby

Founder and manager of the Diplomats Lobby - ensures everything is in check, presides over meetings to keep things civil, and runs any outside involvement or event planning for the Lobby.

Premiere Diplomats

Significant diplomats; eloquent and skilled, possessing a true wit and charisma, and an intellect within the area of study. This position requires the following - An individual who holds it must be an active member of the organisation; they should possess a formal Statesmanship education and knowledge on topics regarding; and should either be of nobility, or have the backing and patronage of a family of the nobility.

Diplomats

The primary members of the organisation - those trained in the art of diplomacy and politics, who wish to get involved, join us for discussions or expeditions, or simply for the opportunity to debate ideas, opinions and stances.

If a player wishes to apply, they should either meet with myself IC, or pen me an IC letter regarding joining. In such, one should mention why they wish to join the Lobby, their skills/abilities that would lead to such (Whether diplomatic in proficiency, or their skill is medical/business/scholarly/military, or so forth.), as well as - if they are not nobility - whether they have the backing of a noble family. This doesn't affect entry at all, and is more just to help with future membership and paperwork.
