• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Regalian Charter Registry

The Regalian Charter Registry is a collection of all active and existent Regalian Charters, as documented by the Lord Chancellor of the Empire. Regalian Charters are official organizations with expressed rights and permits to act upon their specific missives. These registered groups are recognized as fully functional and active within the borders of the Capital City and they are allowed to make use of their given permits without facing legal repercussion, as long as such is not abused.

All Charters and their rights and permits are granted by the Lord Chancellor, and similarly also taken away by them when necessary. In order to get an organization approved as a Regalian Charter, the individual must send a letter to the office of the Lord Chancellor with a list of memberships, goals and ambitions and desired rights and permits. From that point, the Lord Chancellor will bring the proposition to the Ministry Table for a vote amongst the Secretaries (although the Lord Chancellor still reserves the right approve a Charter even if a quorum is not reached, but they will usually not exercise this right outside of necessity). If all or most Secretaries are in favor of the Charters establishment, the Lord Chancellor will decide a list of rights to be granted for the Charter, and give them a Chapter House where applicable.

A Regalian Charter may be an organization such as an Almshouse or a City Clinic, or an Alchemy Order, and any other lanes dealing in service to the public citizens of Regalia, but multiple Charters of the same organization will be disallowed. For example, for as long as the Violet Order exists, there will never be another City-Guard charter. If a Medical Charter is approved, such will be the sole Official Medical Charter in all of Regalia.

In order to apply to start an Official Regalian Charter, PM @seoulmate on the forums with the following format filled out. It is of absolute necessity that the entire form is filled out in-character as if the character is writing the proposal themselves. A letter should include all the necessary details, but must be to-the-point. Writing a novella may end up having your entire application overlooked. You may be rejected if your Charter plan is not impressive or deemed unnecessary, or if your character(s) are found to be in conflict with the Regalian Government for varying reasons.

Before attempting to start a Regalian Charter, the following points are advised to be considered:
  • Running an Official Charter is tedious work. It is expected from all the approved Charters that they will function on a day-to-day basis with an adequate number of members to help keep the Charter alive.
  • A Charter plan must already have seven members listed in the application letter before the approval process. To have any less than that will drastically lessen your chances of approval.
  • The Government must feel confident in the idea behind the Charter, and must be able to find trust in the individuals involved. It is because of this reason that is it advised for criminally inclined characters to avoid this.
  • It should be noted that we are not going to create too many Charters for the sake of keeping things tightly knit and organized. It is because of this reason that only exceptional cases will be put into consideration.

Letter to the Lord Chancellor Amelina Peirgarten:

T
o the Lord Chancellor, Amelina Peirgarten,

Due to the ever-climbing amount of proposals coming in from the Common's Meetings that the secretariat lacks either the resources, time, or manpower to handle, I propose to you the start-up of a charter designated to the management and execution of proposals related to charity or basic city work. Proposals have come in concerning the removal of trees, the planting of gardens, and distribution of food to the destitute populace. I have gathered an organization capable of handling these tasks, to relieve stress from the city government.

The rights we seek are simple, and all related to what would be required to complete the tasks:
  • I. The right to carry out approved charitable or labor-oriented proposals submitted to the Secretariat in the name of the state.
  • II. The right to self-defense while on duty, limited to weapons less than or equal to 12 inches and no armor.
  • III. The right to establish temporary structures for the purpose of distributing food and shelter, as long as traffic is not obstructed, for a duration lasting no longer than one week.
We greatly appreciate your consideration of our application, and eagerly await your response.

With high regards,
Kaya Akersdottir Viduggla
Graf of Fohrborg
Secretary of the Commons
