• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Well, sadly me and my giant faction is forced to move because of being too close to a faction of oddities. I was very settled in, with a large city, and even the helms deep project underway, but now iceguard had cried to the ops saying that we were 'too close to them' and, since i wasnt on, only my righthand man was, we weren't able to stand up properly and we had to go. currently i am trying to find my way in ellador, the making of a wasteland, it is very hard to find a safe good place to stay, so im down to one choice, the middle of the ocean. I find that it was unfair and that there was no issue at hand, and becasue it's hard to find a tme when iceguard is on, i have to move. I find that i was unfairly accused, and that the ops were biased due to pooter being in the faction. I had just wanted to say this out here to let people know whats going on.

-<3 tubbs[DOUBLEPOST=1351629883][/DOUBLEPOST]Im so sad :'(

My people... Sons and Daughters of Bushido. This much I vow: The history of these days will be written in blood. By crushing the armies of our enemy, by seizing the weapons they thought to turn against us, we were fighting for our very existence. But if there are those who would deny us peace; refuse us our rightful place in the world, then we will unleash such terrible vengeance that generations yet unborn will cry out in anguish![...]The enemy may shatter our bodies, but they cannot break our spirit. Even now they advance on our home world, to seize by force what they cannot claim by right. They cannot imagine what awaits them. WE WILL SMITE THE INVADERS FROM OUR LANDS!

Our Empire will be stronger then ever before!

Couldn't you just like, screenshot an "/he tool" from something that is obviously in your faction, and that has obviously been in your faction longer than the other faction? Like a Lockette sign on a chest or something? Construction on your faction should have happened relatively early in the ownership process.[DOUBLEPOST=1351701824][/DOUBLEPOST]The vengeance thing is good too, it just seems like a lot of work.

I dont know anything about this case but i can say that pooter has nothing to do with it since he is not in the team anymore.

You are not a Helghast.

If the mod in questions move you with biased conditionals towards pooter, we should know. Who was the mod/admin in question who spoke to your member?

Well I say get proof that your faction was there first. The ruling beyond that will be clear.

YOu can move in ear Osai - we don't mind people being within the 16chunk rule (I was forced to relocate myself). There are mountains and valleys to the north and a forest to the south.

"Too close" is in the rules, if you were within sixteen chunks they had every right to "cry to the ops".

Yep, im pretty sure he just made this thread to get members to side with him. Tubby, I say if you want your land back, settle this with the team or icegaurd privately.

Tubby started building Bushido before I made Atholl and that was shortly after Ellador came out. Iceguard wasn't even made yet when he started building. Only factions up there were Atholl, BlackMagic, LittleLamp, and a few small ones. I say Tubby get his land back and tell the others to move their land.

Yes, but Iceguard built in Ellador before them. Iceguard was there first, therefore the sixteen chunk rule means that TUBBY should have to move, because he moved in without checking to see if they were too close.

Once again goes back to the fact of there are to many factions even with the increased faction cost. I've wandered around Ellador and Daendroc and everywhere you go there is claimed land well within 16 chunks of each other from factions that started and then never got back on. I found a great spot in Ellador and within 1 day there were 5 factions built on all sides basically putting a halt to any building plans I had for the surrounding area. Underground dark room...nope...streets and villages...nope...viking boat in the large bay...nope because someone decided to claim the ocean itself.

Oh well...whomever there was first should have the land but I do say that Ellador is a great place to make a faction but it just seems overcrowded and small already.

Agreed. With the number of one-five man factions taking up multiple chunks, there is nothing that can be truly done about this.

In my opinion, i would like if the mods could throw together a rag-tag world out of the current Bo2s they have, maybe even a would who's base biome was a desert.

Ellador was just realeased a month ago, be satisfied with the great new world before it falls to ruin like Ceardia.

Well go to war if you have neighbours setteling to close to your claimed land,or make political arrangements,Negotiate whit them. People need to remember that it's still a minecraft plugin called "Factions" The purpose of this plugin teamwork. RISE OR FALL.

Off course everyone wants to make a empire, But do now factions are nothing more then tribals fighting over land.

Do you think that is easy? Do you think we can just create world out of nothing? We spend months working, concepting ideas for new worlds and most of our ideas get shot down. It takes a VERY long time for us to think up, create and release a world. What you are asking is a lot more complicated than you think.

The 16 chunk rule is there for many reasons. Cayorion, the CREATOR of Factions, has deemed our current rules fit and working. I'm pretty sure the creator knows how to run his own plugin more than you do.

In my eyes I find this thread completely stupid. If you have a complaint about a moderator passing on the rules, do an ingame helpop or send a private message to another staff member. All I can see here is you broke a rule, got punished and now your calling yourself a 'Refugee of BAD RULING'

Tubby even said that this only happened because Pooter was in the faction. Pooter is no longer a team member, so I do not know where you are conjuring this stupid information from. Even if he was a team member still that would not be a reason why we moved you. You were more than 16 chunks close to IceGuard, they helpop'd and got you moved. We would have done it for anyone, we don't give staff or 'ex' staff special treatment.

(This post I just made seems incredibly rude, I did not mean for it to come off like that. I apologise for making it seem like I am insulting you for making this post. But it is rather silly. (hug))

I think this post should be locked. It is too offtopic.

I dont really mind too much, i was just very pissed because they should have told us when we settled there, not after we had built a pretty nice village XD. It was rude of iceguard to wait that long to tell us to move and thats all.[DOUBLEPOST=1352412476][/DOUBLEPOST]And i do know a lot of work goes into those, it was just an ides i was tossing around, we need more deserts ;).
