  • Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

It seems the author attempted to use their best handwriting. Few papers were posted around the city, and in areas outside of the city.

A painting was on this poster of soldiers defending their castle.

After review of the documents "Critique of Legislation" by Xabi Playero and "The Conservative Critique" by the Scion, I now present to you

Questions of Man
Authored by Maximillian d 'Alembert, Conservative Reformist

An introduction is in order. Like the Scion, I have also taken an alias in preparation for less than kind reactions to my document. Like the Scion, I stand for conservative politics throughout the Empire and other realms, and in this document I shall craft a stance on the issues presented by Xabi Playero and the Scion. I shall both reject and accept the writings of Playero, as well as add on to the writings of the Scion, and add my own piece to the issue. The Scion has inspired myself to try and help the rise of irregular criticism, better described in "The Conservative Critique" as not progressive Jacobinism in the traditional sense.

The topic of debate as of late has been the laws of magic. To safeguard the ideals and traditional values of the conservative stance, anti-magic laws are necessary for the benefit of all people. Xabi Playero states in his "Critique of Legislation" that such laws spit on the glorious history of Ailordom, though I mean to argue that defiance of such a law spits on the history of Ailordom. The evolution of magic and it's uses as well as users has been rather poor. Nevermind that Est'alorn magics brought forth an Empire that enslaved Ailor. Magic use now is that of petty parlor tricks. Utilized now mostly by criminals, they cast here and there, to cause harm, to threaten, or to even kill. Defense of magic is that mages played key roles in stopping the Clicker Crisis. Advancement of personal agendas is what this defense is; as had they not they and all of the people in the city would have died. Not only that, they further discredit the sacrifice of those who died venturing into the bowels of the cathedral chasm, or died in defense of Typhonberg. Conservatism preserves core ideals and values that are necessary for the prospering of the Ailor people, and as the Scion states, to keep the natural balance and social order of things. The magic laws are both needed and important for this advancement, and tampering with such will only end in catastrophe.

On to the main and more important topic, which will likely put me in the same position as Playero and the Scion; noble posturing and hypocrisy. In acceptance of Playero's stance, I accept the bombardment to come. Magic laws prohibit commoners from practicing magic, though in the courts of the established aristocrats, such is allowed. I would like to think that dangers of magic do not depend on a class of people, rather the one who wields the magic. In this case, we are to believe that we are safe with nobility in control of such? That even though they have employed a Kathar void mage as one such court mage, as well as a Slizzar woman, not to mention the countless other horned and tailed aberrants now under noble employ, we are safe? Their past as criminals are now just forgiven? What this does is breed corruption within the aristocracy, who would turn a blind eye as their court mage commits to the sewers and leads criminal packs, or various other misdeeds of the aberrant. It is an abomination to conservative values and tenets, and is spitting on the history of Ailordom. Those who have fought and died for their loyalty towards empowered nobility… are now to be spat upon while the aristocracy becomes the very thing it was against?

Our great Empire, our glorious bastion of Ailordom is indeed under siege. Our empire, which has defeated the likes of the Dragon Arken, and the void tainted Dread Empire, is now crumbling under siege from a disastrous rot, an infection, a disease that has embedded itself within the upper echelons of our society. In acceptance of the Scion's and Playero's stance, the aristocracy is the very evil, the very rot, that threatens to run the future of the Ailor into the ground. Should we not have a say? Failed chancelleries, new laws introduced, the acceptance of sub-races and the overwhelming feeling of greed has sent our bastion on a course spiraling towards utter destruction. For an empire destroyed by its enemies can be rebuilt, but one that dies from within is gone for eternity!

In "A Princely Opinionata", different kinds of conservatism are displayed, whilst the author details "Divisivism" is ruining our society. Traditional conservatism, the preservation of societal natural order and the wellbeing of the Ailor, is at the base of all forms of conservatism. To stay true to thy roots is of utmost import. We have been lead astray, my friends. "Divisivism is the hidden killer" is indeed true; true that division from traditional conservative beliefs does not benefit the Empire. It does not benefit society. It does not benefit the Ailor. As the Scion has said, ACCOUNTABILITY is in order for those of the peerage.

REPLACEMENT must happen. For when our Empire falls, so shall the world fall.

A certain infamous Masked Man approached the posted work, taking a copy for himself to read briefly. Ensuring that he had one before the guards inevitably took it down, he decided to take it to a quiet spot in the garden to read.

"This is.... unexpected but pleasing. Not only must I debate showing myself in public to gain supporters, but now I must debate whether I should pen a letter to this... fellow loyalist. For now, I imagine the safest move is to observe."

The Masked Man glanced at the alias again, then the image the man had chosen. He decided to continue his walk down that lonely garden path, stuffing the writing in his jacket.

"Why must every one be so passionate about their drieval, If I have to hear another Ailor bitch about Valarosta being a court mage. Dear Gods, I'll lose it but least they provide me a means of retaining my mercenary rights." the Url sighs giving his daughter a small smile "What you think pup, another opportunity for regals?"
