"Stories have narratives, Lord Harhold. Facts are the last remaining truths in the Empire"

FROM THE DESK OF THE SUPREME CHANCELLOR RODDERICK HOWLESTER
A PROCLAMATION
2. It has become obvious that over the course of the last couple of months, the Commons Ministry, as quaint as it was, was not effective at what it was established to achieve. Hence, the State Council has voted to dissolve the Ministry in its entirety. Open forums will be held in its stead for easier contact with the Supreme Chancellor and the various Councilmen on occasions when it is safe and in the best interests of the Empire.
3. Additionally, the Supreme Chancellor has formally re-established the Arcane and Foreign Ministries, the former requiring individuals with qualifications in magical knowledge and the latter requiring individuals with qualifications in diplomacy. The State Council and Supreme Chancellor will take applications for both Ministries via letter today onwards and is searching for an individual to take the role as Arcane Minister and Foreign Minister respectively.
4. A minor amendment has been made to the law banning airships from entering the general area of the Crown Isle City. Processed individuals with permits will now be allowed to travel to the Crown Isle and moor their airship in designated areas.
5. Upon request from both Lord Jared Kade and the Triumvirate of Commissioners, 100,000 regals, generously provided by House's Harhold and Howlester, will be dedicated in addition to the previous funding in order to eradicate the sanguine menace. The Council will be monitoring the usage of such funding to ensure not a single regal is going to waste.
6. Finally, given the social decline in both entertainment and public works within the City Commons, the Supreme Chancellor sees it the most opportune time to introduce the Regalian City Council. Differing from the State Council, the Regalian City Council will concern itself not with matters of State Governance, but rather ensure that the Crown Isle City is properly maintained. The Council will consist of five, non-noble Councilmen, to be elected by the State Council upon application, and one nobleman or woman to moderate and veto where appropriate. As it stands, the Councilmen will have the authority to host city wide festivals, dispense municipal buildings to organisations and groups where appropriate, propose legislatory changes and also concern themselves with securing the City from threats from the outside, and by utilising funding dedicated to them by the State Council for public works projects. City Councilmen may also petition for more executive authority from the State Council where required. Applications for such positions begin immediately.
