  • Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Backstory Plothooks
  • Chen Lian was born and raised in the harsh, volcanic lands of Huo-Chang, where she was expected to uphold the Wu family legacy by becoming a warrior in the military. However, she never felt fulfilled by the idea of following in her ancestors' footsteps; instead, she longed for an identity beyond the Wu family name. As a child, she often felt out of place and was considered the troublemaker of the family, as no amount of discipline or training could ever tame her rebellious spirit.

    Like many Sihai families, hers was strict and governed by rules that made her feel confined. Her father, Huang Wu, was a stern man who never showed Chen Lian any form of comfort and only cared about her training. In contrast, her mother, Jie Wu, encouraged her to have a free spirit and pursue her own desires, even if it meant going against the family's wishes.

    Despite knowing the fates of those who had been banished for failing to meet expectations, Chen Lian built the courage and eventually made the decision to leave on her own at a very young age, and vowed never to return to the Jade Heart.

    "I cherish my family deeply, but my heart and soul isn't in Huo-Chang. I'm set on a journey to find where I truly belong."

    Although she made the tough decision to leave her family, she often finds herself overwhelmed by feelings of loss. Her relationship with them was challenging, but there were still treasured moments they shared that she holds dearly to her heart. These memories makes her mourn on what her life could've have been like if she had chosen to stay with them.
