• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Archived Peaceful Should Be An Option.

In order to ally someone you need to send a request. But anyone can enemy you whenever they like about the pettiest issue imaginable. That is so blatantly unfair in every way. Firstly it means you have no say whatsoever in who enemies you. Secondly it means someone can enemy you to kill you and make you neutral afterwards etc. It encourages contention and strife. It makes the faction less desirable to other potential members and it makes the whole play experience more of a battle than anything enjoyable or relaxing. I believe the enemy command should be not instant, rather it should be a request or something that both parties must agree on. Secondly it should not be something players can just turn on to suit themselves at any given time, eg to assassinate someone. Its misused too often. In a way this complaint links in with the peaceful faction option. Something needs to be improved there. Thx.

I am writing this as a suggestion but also partly a complaint. I realise this server is a PvP server and raiding and stealing etc is encouraged. But as a player who finds more pleasure in owning their own faction and building their own buildings etc I suggest that an "Option" be made available for those players who wish to play without having to fight raiders and invaders etc. Another reason is because other factions can enemy you practically because you moved to their map or tried to talk to them. It is nonsensical that a server which is supposed to be family friendly encourages raiding and pvp battles WITHOUT providing an option for those children or people who wish to have the right to build in a multiplayer environment. Im not leaving massivecraft because theres so many positives but if I had one negative it would be that. And theres lots of people who would agree with me on this.

If you could incorporate a command perhaps into the server which makes you a peaceful faction for a number of days (to prevent people using it as a defense strategy) and it would prevent raiders from killing you, or you from killing anyone else inside or outside your faction. So thats my ideal scenario. Pls consider it.[DOUBLEPOST=1357128965][/DOUBLEPOST]I was blocked from furthering my suggestion/complaint in the previous two posts and I think this topic deserves a poll. If the MAJORITY wins something must be done about it. If the majority says no, I was right, too many pvp-ers. I for one strongly agree and others including FunkyMonkey19, TaxConsumption have agreed.

This is not how you find the majority, this is a thread on a backwater part of the forum. Our server counts about 5000 logins per day. Less then 10 logins per day will see this thread. Gather your support in some other manner.
