  • Nature Bound Mechanic I: Nature Bound Spirits choose one (or Half) Heritage and receive the Heritage Traits from that. They are also functionally ageless but bound to one appearance (or Shapeshift with Packs).
    • Animal Masters: You can communicate with wild animals in your presence, but they cannot have plot-relevant information or information that would otherwise be metagaming or character-revealing. You can summon a plant and bark-matter mount from the forest anywhere, or call upon a Regalian deer to stride to you as a mount. Finally, you can turn wild beasts into temporary familiars. This may not work on Event Animals.
    • Capitalism Free: You cannot be Aristocratic or Nobility in Regalia, but you don't need to either. While Regalians need money to buy things, you can just get anything and everything from the forest for free. You never need to buy clothes or food, and even alchemical ingredients and medicine can be regularly sourced from the woods. Money has no meaning to you and you can extract value for yourself. You have defeated John Locke.
  • Nature Bound Mechanic II: Nature Bound Spirits inherit some Archon Mechanics. They gain Mechanic 1, & Mechanic 2. Mechanic 2 however does not block them from using Sinistral Magic, which they can use.
    • Winged Flight: You can use Wings (of any Fae/Draconic/Mechanical design), while while out of Combat, allows Elytra flight, including the use of Rockets to gain more height and speed. Combat or Ability usage immediately disables flight and prevents flight until end of Combat.
    • Leytech Conduit: You may choose up to 2 Packs from Magic Point Buy, or Invoke Point Buy (except Arcane Invocation), that you've Point Bought and re-classify them as Ley Point Buy Packs. These Mechanics/Abilities will not be classified as Magic, or make you Magical, instead, they will be fueled by the Elderlaw.
  • Nature Bound Mechanic III: Nature Bound Spirits still bear some connection and compulsion to their original creation. As such, they may choose one Mechanic from all Evolism Religious Mechanics, or the Estelley Religious Mechanic.
  • Languages: Common
«☼ Backstory / Plot Hooks ☼»

Once a loyal soldier a part of the Spirit Sovereign, Torama's legion, now a friendly possessed scarecrow wanting nothing more than to be alive and surrounded by loved ones.

&$%^&* was a Puppeteer Spirit summoned by the Sovereign Torama, Defiler of Nature. After a strenuous battle against Quamta, Sovereign of the Swamp, $%^&# lost their memories and was abandoned by Torama.

Upon awakening, @#$%& was met with the sight of golden fields as far as the eye can see, with the occasional orange gourd dotting the landscape. Their body was stiff as though they were nailed to a stake, countless days and nights had passed, leaving the disoriented spirit alone with their own thoughts. Who were they? Where were they?

One day, a handsome man with long pointy ears passed through the field. They took a moment to stop and stare out at the setting sun and muttered "Nothing like a patch of pumpkins to brighten up my day…"

Eventually, the ropes confining the straw vessel weakened, allowing for the lost spirit to break away. Now free to wander beyond the horizon, the spirit was delighted, eager to see new things and experience this new life they were granted!

The first settlement $@&?% stumbled upon was, Morgenwend. Contrary to the town's warm atmosphere, the spirit was met with fearful gazes, harassment, and eventually getting chased out by knights brandishing sharp blades. It was there that they learned, for whatever reasons, their existence was wrong.

From the shadows, the sad scarecrow watched and longed to be a part of the light. Yearned to be included, have friends, a purpose in life, and pretty ears like the elven people… Driven by these built-up desires, the spirit strived to change themself, so that one day they would be accepted by all! And so, the training arc began! The first step to obtaining a friendly image is to obtain a friendly name! &0}%+€ then remembered the words of the first elf he laid eyes on back in those sunny farmlands, and so Patch Pumpkin was born! Patch spent their days filled with determination, making fake elf ears from straw and cardboard. Creating a rouge from ground up flower petals in order to achieve rosy cheeks. And even perfecting their crooked smile in the reflection of a nearby pond.

More lore to come, stay tuned!
