• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

As I was out riding my valiant steed in the Southern wilds of Teled Methen yesterday I happened across an incredibly large and incredibly impressive build at Teled Methen x:5212 y:136 z:7760 that is set to restore in a little over one day. God knows how this has been allowed to happen.

As a keen builder myself I'm quite hard to impress when it comes to builds... but let me just say this build left me open jawed at its scale and magnificence (see multiple images below).

It would appear to be Valyria's "Lorien" estate and, hand on heart, it would be a flat out disaster if it just vanished.

I've messaged @onearmsquid about this but I fear it might be to late before my message is read.

@MonMarty can we do anything to preserve this or are we going to leave it's fate to the cruel winds of "The Black Restore"?

I could claim it, but that upkeep is too much for me to deal with. Such is the life of these builds. You enjoy them as much as you can, and then they disappear into the abyss.

Going over to scout it out, I just remembered that this faction land was the scene of a Baver invasion PvE a year or so ago. Good memories. Take screenshots with your buds.

On the plus side, the ships are filled with mobs during the nights, so it's somewhat enjoyable to kill these "pirates" who have taken over.

Nice get Suzzie, I notice Auxillian has claimed most of this now. Let me know if you choose to let this property go because, frankly, an outer shell this beautiful deserves to have someone give it the same level of detail in the interior.

@Suzzie @Tahmas invite PursuasiveDuck over to your faction from mine and I'll send him over tonight (it's afternoon here) to give you the temporary power to save this amazing build.

@Jalapeno690 your claims over the boat and the bridge are blocking Auxillian from saving possibly one of the most amazing parts of this build, the front gardens. Can you clear out your claims quickly as these chunks are going to be consumed by MassiveRestore very very soon.

Once you remove those claims Auxillian can clean up the extra chunks they don't need to the north to give them the claim power to save that front bit.

It's be kinda cool to be claimed by an admin faction and used for factions pve/pvp events.

Admittedly I didn't know what I was doing, hence why the claim looks so weird. Now looking at it, I can probably remove those extra chunks and likely have some extra claim power.

@Eucindiel i completely agree with you, i have a long association with this build from when fleur owned it unfortunately i didnt have the power to claim all and wanted some to remain. I wilk be on this evening to remove the claim

@Jalapeno690 thanks anyway man.

@Kaezir and @Suzzie as I feared Jalapeno was a few hours too late in removing his claims which were blocking Suzzie from claiming the front section of that estate.

The landing, docks, front gardens and ships have all been wiped clear by the cleansing tide that is MassiveRestore.

I have a schematic of the entire build. I know it's a stretch of "Da Rules"... but... if our friends @Tahmas and @Suzzie can get the chunks claimed is someone with world-edit privileges able to re-instate that front section that was lost?

Could you send me over the schematic? I'll be able to just put it into schematica and just rebuild it.

I have a schematic of the finished product, however some of it is corrupt. Shoot me a PM if you would like to have it.

It would be great to see the build finished, there used to be a town attached to it when @Fleur bought it, however after Targaria disbanded the palace changed hands 24249483 times and the town was restored, it had a close build style to Batavia

Been there, looted it, loved it. This build must be finished! It's was beautiful!
