• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I personally love using beacons on SP, especially for the Haste feature (allowing you to break blocks faster), and since I'm part of a dwarvern faction this haste feature would come in handy for mining out huge mountains. I know that the Whither Boss is disabled on Massivecraft; I was wondering if there could be another way of obtaining them, for example hiding nether stars in huge caverns (Like the Sword of Light) or putting it up as a prize for completing an instance. I don't see how this could have a negative effect RP.

Beacons are not balanced for multiplayer gameplay, wither bosses are terrible problems if someone unleashes one on the spawn area, beacons may contribute to skyline griefing if used in large quantity.

We see no reason to enable beacons.

Well, i was hoping that there would only be a few nether stars to be obtained on the server, for example the first 3 to get to the end of an instance, gets a nether star (But they would have to be from 3 different factions), I'm sure this would deal with skyline greifing.

Heh, I was thinking of a custom craftinf recipe. :P

And.. Which factions would have them? Kayolin and Argonia? Nothnx

What tax is saying is Argonia and other rich factions would probably finish the "event" thingy your suggesting first. They would then use it to buff themselves even more.

Beacons are clearly visible from over 30 chunks away, they would be annoying as hell because the beacons of neighbouring factions would be visible.
