"TASTE ALL THE INGREDIENTS"
More Ailor Nerfs, this time time by boosting the Avanthar, Allar and Slizzar races. This was largely done because:
- Avanthar lore is old, and didn't make much sense anymore (referring to Maiar for example). The lore also wasn't quantified, meaning the boosts were just confusing players.
- Allar racial abilities were a bit under clarified or just shoved into a corner on their race page as a common trait without declaring that Allar do actually have abilities that are unique.
- Slizzar racial abilities were fine, but felt a little bit under powered, or simply self-limiting. There was no strict benefit to being "seduced" by a Slizzar for other players, to the point it would be avoided OOC.
- Allar
- Regeneration bonus declared as a separate sub-section to make it easily readable between physical descriptions and Allar reproduction habits.
- Gave all Allar a new racial ability in their tongue. Their tongue is now super sensitive and basically its own fully-decked laboratory that can analyse the age and substance composition of anything they lick. The tongue is also extremely durable, made a bit longer, and can actually be used to try and strangle hold people.
- Slizzar
- Re-clarified Shimmering Scales to strictly state that yelling and screeching at a Slizzar that they are nasty and slimey creatyures is in fact god-rp. Anyone looking on a Slizzar regardless of the Template or their personal feelings should in the moment feel that they are beautiful and not accost them for being Slizzar.
- Added a Slizzar Bonding System that triggers when a Slizzar's victim has fully fallen in love with the Slizzar in Question. This has a number of effects:
- The victim is immune to Sensation Surge of other Slizzar.
- Other Slizzar can no longer Template them.
- Sensation Surge by their Bonded Slizzar becomes even more powerful.
- The highest Proficiency of the victim gains a +10 boost (that can exceed even race boosted Proficiency Caps) while they are within 50 feet of each other. (Always present in calculations for Progressions)
- The highest Proficiency of the victim is halved and added to the Proficiencies of the Slizzar (calculated before adding the Bonding Boost) while they are within 50 feet of each other. (Always present in calculations for Progressions)
- Added the ability for Slizzar to store their Templates as many times as they like and re-activate them later. There is a time limit on it though, Templates unused or persons unseen for 6 months causes a Template to be forgotten.
- Avanthar
- Scrapped all old Imprinting Lore and reworked it up from the ground.
- Avanthar now have a special organ used to harvest genetic material from other races that gives them a temporary 2 week boost that they can change out afterwards. These benefits are subtracted from other races to be lesser boosts that they don't immediately control to make sure those races don't become weaker in comparison. Additionally, some aesthetic options are opened up.
- Orc allows Avanthar to get "roid" bodies that increase in Body Shape as they become angry or excited (but they don't have any control over it)
- Maraya allows Avanthar to become spider-man basically.
- Yanar allows Avanthar to develop chameleon skin near plant matter.
- Varran gives an Athletics Proficiency Boost.
- Slizzar gives a lesser version of Shimmering Scales.
- Implemented a whole concept of Dead Genos and Scale Sickness which high-key implements Satyrs into lore in an elegant way without making a whole new race. This is now implemented in lore to accommodate those who purely want to play a Satyr, but think the Url is too much.
- Avanthar history update will follow somewhat later, as will Maraya re-release on re-assessment whether the race should even continue to exist at a later date. For the sake of this update, this was merely a racial ability re-assessment, not a full rewrite or full update.
