Hi there! I'm Miss_Confined but you may call me Confy / Jessica.
...I keep making art threads.
Here's some information about me and my art:
I am 18, turning 19 on August 27th and have been doing digital art since the summer of 2017.
✿ When I first started with drawing as a hobby I checked out books from Christopher Hart on "How to Draw Manga" from my local library, followed shortly thereafter with an obsession on all his manga-related books despite not reading any manga before.
I've studied art for about 7 years in both middle school and high school taking multiple courses ranging from Foundations of Art to Composition and Design to Graphic Design I & II.
✿ For the longest time my "art style" consisted of solely cartoon-like characters and while I still love doing that, I'm making this thread so that I can showcase work that I've done recently in a different manner.
My favorite things to draw are definitely people, and more so women than men because I find women a tiny bit easier to draw.
✿ Semi-realism is a recent style shift for me and is taking a lot to get used to. I'm really learning on how to better improve upon faces and constantly am trying to push myself out of my comfort zone.

Some of my greatest inspirations that have inspired me to study more realism in art are the following: @Patsie @JoyShake @MonMarty @MantaRey @Samfari @Nekoii @MURKl
and thank you to everyone in this community who continue to offer me support, you're the best.
