(This is a very cool idea, thank you!
A couple historian's notes... Although it isn't specifically said which time period Regalia is in, based on technology, weapons, society, etc, I would guess probably somewhere in the fifteenth or sixteenth century, which opens up your range of sources considerably from just to the second century. Just from a glance-through, it does look like you have some late-medieval/early-Early Modern stuff already, so that's good! Just clarifying for your research.
Also, not really pertinent to research, but I'd also like to point out that, although medical practices of this time period do indeed seem terrible to us, they're not that unreasonable considering the knowledge and technology available to them. Research had to be done through trail and error based on macroscopic examinations with limited access to inner workings of a functioning body. Consider what people five hundred years in the future will think of our medical knowledge. So, you know, we can appreciate the efforts these people made to save lives with the tools they had (often surprisingly successfully, I might add, though of course nowhere near modern success rates) and their contributions to later medical study, because just because something is unsuccessful doesn't mean it's not valuable.
Anyway, you can take or leave all that as you wish. If it's helpful to you, great! If not, well, maybe it'll be useful in another way. At any rate, this was a neat idea, and I look forward to learning more in roleplay!
