• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hey all,

I'm looking to do data collection on what players value in pot loadouts. Personally, mcmmo pots do eat up a lot of resources and that's good for our economy. However, they also make PvP more complicated and even less enjoyable. Most Pvp servers only use Instahealth 2, Fire res, Strength & speed and sometimes regen. Our server has quite a bit of extra potions that are unique to our server.

Whats your thought?

honestly all these different pots make it hard to pvp or even get into pvp. I prefer pvp simple with speed 2 and strength 2 pots. I would love for every player to have healthboost 2 too.

idk... how hard is it to train alchemy? could I set up 100 brewing stands at once and just do 10 brewing sessions?

It's not really that, more than fights are shorter because we carry so many other pots. Plus if you don't have them, your at a disadvantage. Win Win for PvP

Alchemy is the hardest mcmmo skill to level, with the sole possible exception being taming, just because of how hard it is to breed enough wolves to level. Most of the current people with high alchemy got their alchemy levels when it was first released a couple years ago, myself included. At that point, it was significantly easier to level, but the experience from alchemy was greatly reduced a couple months after release.

There is a custom recipe for the pots so alchemy doesn't really matter anymore.
Unless it's been changed in the last month or so since I quit, you can only craft the vanilla potions, not the mcmmo pots.

You can craft the non vanilla ones with massive's custom recipe
