I've seen a lot of people saying massivecraft is copying The Elder Scrolls and I'm just not seeing it, I'm curious to see what others thoughts are on this subject.
MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.
Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.
Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.
not nesesarily, im pretty sure its comparing tes in generalWhat?
That's essentially saying TES can be excused for using Tolkien's elves, yet if someone takes elements from those books they are copying TES.
Mass Debate is for topics unrelated to Massive.
oh ok, thanks
The Dwemer were dwarvesHmmm...
Regalia = Imperials
Tigran = Khajiit
Thylan = Werewolves
Sereph = Dwemer (advanced ruined species)
Undead = Undead (lol)
Meh. They have some classic fantasy features, and I have yet to see any fantasy where the elves are industrious being who run factories and shit while dwarves live as one with nature (someone make that into lore damnit) so meh.
The Seraph are more like the Ayleid of Cyrodill. Dwemer were the dwarves of TES, despite the fact that they were the size of a regular human.
Tolkien was practically the creator of the Middle Age with Elves and such. No, TES and Massivecraft are not alike. Just both branches on the Tolkien tree.
Not at all, thylan are little marsupials while TES werewolves are hulking moonbeasts
That ending though...It's all just copying J.R.R. Tolkien anyway!
Good artists copy, but great artists steal.
Even Dr. Fong is highly derivative of Dr. Loa.. behold!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH The Dwemer are not necessarily dead they were all teleported into an alternate dimension, also in morrowind there was a immortal dwemer still around although his existence was painThe Seraph are more like the Ayleid of Cyrodill. I wasn't the only one who noticed!A tad off topic, but I am glad that Massive made their own magic system. Their own, you say? Well, yes. You know the old awakening and stuff? That was copied almost word for word from a book called the Alchemist.
