• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

So I was fishing in a swamp in New Ceardia, when suddenly these gray lines appeared, stretching from some far-off point in the sky to the water, ending about 2 blocks into the water.

Is this an Optifine glitch or a server glitch??

This is definitely a glitch with your client, since I've never heard of a server giving visual errors. Also, I've experience similar visual errors/artifacts because of Optifine, and I generally never use it or any other mod.

I too have had this glitch. I believe it is completely client side, and may be caused with visual render errors when running Minecraft. I know for a fact that my computer easily overheats/gets very hot and this is when I noticed the issues. On the other hand it could simply be a visual glitch with Optifine. I would say most likely Optifine.

Now.. I HAVE had those visual glitches/errors before, and I can definitely say it ISN'T optifine, because that has happened to me before, when I didn't even have mods installed, it is purely client side.. If it keeps happening, try deleting your .minecraft folder, and restarting the game (Warning: deleting your .minecraft folder will get rid of saves, texturepacks, mods.. Etc.. So make sure you either take those out, and place them onto your desktop, or just know where you can get new ones..)
