• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

The MassiveCraft website states:
"Magic is no longer allowed in the holy city of Regalia. Any mage seen performing such unholy acts will be arrested immediately!"
MonMarty posted in the thread "The Magic Ban":
Magic is not banned in regalia, locking thread.

These two statements appear to be contradictory, but I assume that context is everything. I would ask MonMarty or other knowledgeable staff to clarify this apparent contradiction.

There has been a severe miscommunication between the story writers and the executive roleplay staff/players doing the awakening event on the server. It resulted in this situation.

Magic is not banned in Regalia, it is regulated strictly by the Order of Dawn and mages and what not are locked up at the academy untill they pass the tests of vigil and are approved back into the civilized world.

The Crimsons and Prison guards will face scrutiny soon.

Thanks for clearing that up MonMarty, likewise, where would I go in order to pass the tests of vigil? I've heard more and more about the academy, however, I've yet to learn the exact location.

Thanks MonMarty, I was extremely confused earlier since there are notices and whatnot up around Regalia itself saying that magic is outlawed.

This certainly makes things clearer.

- I assume he means the Regalian Academy which isn't accessible at this time due to changes around the city... Unless you find a way over the wall to get to it, assuming it hasn't been torn down. It was kind of out of the way to begin with and I rarely saw people go out to it. I could be completely wrong, however. The Academy he speaks of may not physically exist but could be one of those things just generally referred to for the sake of roleplay purposes.
