• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Bonjour! Here with a second one because @SnugglyKittens told me so. This one is mostly focused on your character's feelings towards others, I think. But you know with other stuff randomly peppered through like cherry tomatoes in a pasta dish.

  1. Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?
  2. Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
  3. On an average day, what can be found in your character's pockets (or whatever they hold their stuff in)?
  4. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?
  5. Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?

In the light of it, Juliette does not have a lot of people in her family that are close to her age besides her older brother, Frederick, and her slightly younger cousin, Raina. While she isn't as close to them as she'd like to believe, Juliette is certainly more in contact with Raina as she lives with her unlike with her brother who she hasn't seen since she was fifteen.
Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
Within her first few weeks of being in Regalia, Freya Lo rose to power, thrusting the then fifteen/sixteen year old into a struggle to survive as she fled to join the Kronau Resistance. The young girl saw much and experience much that no child should see or experience during that winter including, but not limited to; herself and others slowly starving, corpses being launched into their Fort, the dead knocking on the door, hiding in the sewers under Fort Kronau to escape death, etc.

Not a lot of people would've noticed the change in her except for her older sisters, Darcie and Marianne, as others could've just assumed that she'd grown up or that she was always like that as Juliette never really got the chance to get to know people before she changed due to that horrific winter.

On an average day, what can be found in your character's pockets?
Normally, Juliette's pockets are fairly empty save regals- most of the time she doesn't really feel the need to carrying around lots of things and one other reasoning is she knows as a noble woman, pickpockets and muggers are likely considering jumping her for valuables.

Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?
Juliette doesn't really dream too often when she sleeps, but if she were too by chance, often the woman is dreaming of succeeding in life and making her family proud.

Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?
Opposite to her dreams, she has nightmares more often about her fears of falling her family as well as her deceased husband.

In what situation was your character most afraid?
I believe that the situation where Juliette would've been the most afraid would've been an extremely recent one that occurred during the Siege of the Slums by the guard charters the day before the Dragon attack. While in the Slums, Juliette was caught in a fight with a Tresmisae Sanguine- who screamed (as in the unholy scream) directly into her ear- causing both ears to bleed and for her hearing to temporarily vanish. The part that scared her the most was that despite the fact that she'd tried to get the attention of so many, blood was dropping from her ears, and her cheeks were tear stained- no one had helped her until nearly an hour later when close friend finally noticed and hauled her to a medic. Juliette had felt so lost and alone, the woman didn't understand how she could go from a strong and mostly fearless fighter to a sobbing mess.

In what situation was your character the calmest?
A recurring event- Juliette always feels more calm than ever when she is holding her daughter, Mathurine, due to the fact that the little girl seems to understand that her mother just wants a moment to rest from all the craziness that seems to constantly be happening around her.

Is your character bothered by the sight of blood?
No, and she never really has been. This is an extremely great perk due to the fact that the woman is hoping to one day become anything militaristic... her fainting at the sight of blood would more or less hinder this goal.

Does your character remember names or faces easier?
Juliette tends to remember faces much easier than names- more often or not if she doesn't continue to talk to someone or say their name a lot when she first meets them, she doesn't really remember it next time they speak.

Which does your character value more: success or happiness?
Juliette values success much more, personally, than happiness. Success for her though, is making her daughter happy. So while she may seem selfish, much preferring status and wealth over being happy, she prefers this because she knows it will give her and her daughter a much more stable life as well as her daughter won't have to worry much about anything.

Is your character more likely to value wisdom or ambition in others?
I believe that Juliette is much more of the type to value ambition rather than wisdom- because she believes that being willing to make a change is sometimes much more important than just knowing many things. Besides that, she's not really the type to fall into line just because someone has more experience, she'd rather be with people that want to leave a mark at any moment.

Has your character ever had a parental figure that was not related to them?
Juliette has had several of these figures since arriving in Regalia, those being Leonzio Wodenstaff, Ania Howlester, William Howlester, and Jamie Rosendahl. For the first and last person, Jamie and Leonzio, they both had previously been Juliette's brother in laws- married to her eldest and now deceased sister, Marianne Vauclain. Throughout the months of Freya Lo's rise and Juliette's months in Kronau and with the Resistance, she was practically left there with just Jamie Rosendahl, whom protected her and sparked her interest in swordsmanship. Leonzio on the other hand came into the picture right after the Resistance ended when Juliette discovered that Jamie and Marianne had divorced. Leonzio was not the person she initially wanted to associate with as he was (and still is) fairly ... controlling, but the two eventually worked out their issues for one another right near the sudden death of Mari. Since then, Leonzio has been one of Juliette's greatest assets as he provided her with a trainer for Mariposa, he's taught her to not be so stuck up like she was as a child, and he's been there to be at her side when she needs an ally.

Besides her two (ex) brother in laws, Juliette has also come to consider William and Ania Howlester as parental figures in her life- but mostly the latter. Ania is like the mother she never really had- understanding her hardships, standing near her (much like Leonzio) when she needs an ally, and encouraging her dreams unlike her own mother who was an Ithanian that didn't very much believe in a woman being warrior. Ania has been besides Juliette longer than Leonzio as she met her in Rothburg during the Resistance after Nathaniel Bigge was bothering her and Ania offered to hit him if he kept threatening to destroy her friendship with Loic Laine (her current courtship at the time). After that, their relationship just slowly grew until Juliette came to consider her as a mother- going so far as to even tell Ania first and foremost about her expecting Mathurine, long before she ever told her husband or any other Wodenstaffs.

  1. Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with? Yes, Solaine has three siblings in total. Her older brother Hamelin, older sister Ida, and younger sister Czylle. Other family members would be Reimund, Ernesta and Lena. All of whom are her cousins. The one whom she is closest to would have to be Lena from the other side of her family, and Ida from her direct bloodline.
  2. Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know? Solaine has seen many things, though perhaps the one thing that has changed her forever are all her discussions with her sister Ida. All of them have hit her emotionally, making her see things more open minded than she is used to.
  3. On an average day, what can be found in your character's pockets (or whatever they hold their stuff in)? Solaine always carries a few coins in her pockets, as well as a small notebook and coal pencil with nothing but business notes, stocks etc. On her belt, however, hangs a sheathed Griffer blade at all times, the sheath itself being decorated with roses and lilies in gold and silver colored weaving.
  4. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams? The most common thing to reappear in her dreams would be a large calm ocean, no land in sight and only a ship on which she would stand and walk on.
  5. Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares? Her family gone, no note or anything. Her lover, Lucien Rosendahl, vanished with no trace. Another common thing to occur would be her family and friends telling her a simple line. "You are nothing compared to the others in your bloodline."
  6. In what situation was your character the most afraid? It is rare for her to become truly afraid, but one of the few times she becomes afraid is when she is clueless of a situation or doesn't know where she is.
  7. In what situation was your character the calmest? Whilst drinking a cup of tea or warm cider in front of a fireplace, Lucien beside her with an idle conversation.
  8. Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? As she knows she will see blood one day, the sight of it never bothered her and still doesn't.
  9. Does your character remember faces or names better? Solaine remembers faces much easier than names, though can puzzle names together with faces if she is given enough time to learn what face bears what name.
  10. Which does your character value more: success or happiness? A mixture of both, but if she had to choose, happiness would be her main choice.
  11. Is your character more likely to value wisdom or ambition in others? Ambition is the main thing she envies in some. As she herself does not know what she wants, when she sees someone with a clear goal and their motivation to achieve it, she cannot help but feel envy.
  12. What is your character's biggest relationship flaw? Has this ever destroyed a relationship for them? Her being blunt at times, even harsh. If she finds that someone is being a bother to her, or someone who might have done something she finds disgusting, she is not afraid to speak her mind fully. Sometimes she might even call the person horrid names fitting with their actions.
  13. In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation or self-criticism? Often in jobs, positions or simply their ability to get their voice heard. She takes these things in people as things to make herself better in. She often wishes to speak up in front of a crowd, though still fears it due to her rather anti-social nature.
  14. In the event of something tragic or negative, is your character more likely to believe they're to blame or are they quick to blame others? She does not point fingers without proof of an action. She is not quick to blame herself either, though often things of ways she could have added to prevent the event.
  15. What does your character like to see in others? Motivation and pride. If one has them both, she'll admire them as people worth respecting.
  16. What does your character hate to see in others? Harlotry and just simply using themselves to get further with no actual effort. She sees that positions and ranks are gained through effort, not through sleeping your way up.
  17. How does your character act around children? She acts like a good big sister, often playing with them and being silly. Children are something she adores, so whenever there is a child she likes to find ways to keep them happy.
  18. In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve? If it is criticism she can see and understand, she is more than happy to improve herself. Though if it is false accusations against her, she easily gets ticked and will defend her pride to the best of her abilities.
  19. Has your character ever had a parental figure that was not related to them? Not really. She never really had someone acting as a parent outside from her family, often learning things on her own.
  20. Is your character more concerned in defending their honor or protecting their status? Honor. All the way. Her status does not matter to her, her pride being the thing she would be more concerned of if it was in jeopardy.

Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?
While having no siblings, Garth does have plenty of family members nearing his age. Those close to his age include his cousins, Frejnir, Eluf, and Arvid Viduggla. However, the one Garth is closest to is Frejnir- even though it doesn't look like it.
Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
The once Viduggla had went to war, hardening and throwing away most of the childish thoughts inside his head. Another thing that has changed Garth as of current is current interaction with family- One of his relatives, who Garth respects, claimed Garth not to be a Viduggla anymore. The only one who knows of it currently is his wife, halfly.
On an average day, what can be found in your character's pockets (or whatever they hold their stuff in)? Regals, and keys to both family estates he holds access to. He doesn't feel the need to have a plethora of items rumbling in his pockets.
Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?
High status. The Wodenstaff loves to dream of himself as one with a high title, leading men and women working for him into battle, or something similar.
Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?
While Garth only has a occasional nightmare, one of them includes the necrothar he had encountered in the slums- It left him horrified. Another recurring theme in his nightmares is seeing men torn apart in war, however that is very little.
In what situation is your character the most afraid?
Currently, Garth is most afraid in the midst of war, or any duel involving sharp blades. He has a fear of death, hence why the Wodenstaff resolved himself to do everything in his power to win.
In what situation Is your character the calmest?
Garth is most content with himself, and everything, while out hunting. It's his favorite activity, the peace and serenity of being in wild compares to very little.
Is your character bothered by the sight of blood?
Typically, no. Garth is a man of combat- He's seen plenty of it. However, a large quantity of blood can put him on edge, unless he has struck the blow to produce it.
Does your character remember faces or names better?
Garth is one to remember faces better than names, though he doesn't forget names easily as well.
Which does your character value more: success or happiness?
Is your character more likely to value wisdom or ambition in others?
Amibition. Garth is a man of action, he prefers those with a spark on fire behind their words and actions, over those who know facts.
What is your character's biggest relationship flaw? Has this ever destroyed a relationship for them?
Garths biggest flaw in a relationship is his lack of seeing things through the others perspective. And while this hasn't yet destroyed any relationships, it has put stress on his wife.
In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation or self-criticism?
Both. Garth likes to compare himself to those who make mistakes in the moment to better his image of himself, and hopefully improve others opinion on him. However, the Viduggla also compares himself to those of high status to criticise himself.
In the event of something tragic or negative, is your character more likely to believe they're to blame or are they quick to blame others?
Garth will only blame himself if he knows, or if it is obviously he was the one at fault. Though, he isn't one to shy away from assigning blame- And while he does it less than on himself, it's still there. He'll make sure they know he blames them, too.
What does your character like to see in others?
Loyalty. Those who remain to those they were originally loyal to (within reason, for there always the outliers), will earn appreciation from Garth.
What does your character hate to see in others?
Acts of a snake. Those who backstab others of good morals and thoughts just to better themselves, will meet a Wodenstaff full of disgust.
How does your character act around children?
Garth puts on a fake face with children he is not blood-related to, unless they're of northerne culture or of a good friend. He throws up a smile to any kid, being generous towards them- however, he is not one who likes to be pestered by them, unless they're family.
In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?
Defensive. Garth believes heavily in his actions, and with his stubborn mind he will be sure to defend himself and his actions. All his actions have reasoning- He will state them if needed, and in his eyes it was the best
ting to do in the moment.
Has your character ever had a parental figure that was not related to them?
No. Growing up, Garth's parental figures were just that- his blooded parents. In his eyes, no man or woman will compare to his father or mother, and the closest he will view someone to parental figure is mentor- though that hasn't happened yet.
Is your character more concerned in defending their honor or protecting their status?
Garth will defend his honor. While his actions in combat prove dishonorable, his actions on the social scene seem to be for honor- He will make himself a target to maintain that.

  1. Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?
    1. Theo is an only child, but she did have a cousin that she was close in age to. The two were fairly close, almost sibling like, since neither had a sibling of their own.
  2. Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
    1. No, not really.
  3. On an average day, what can be found in your character's pockets (or whatever they hold their stuff in)?
    1. Regals and her glasses, but sometimes a few pieces of paper and charcoal for writing stuff down.
  4. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?
    1. Theo does not dream often, but when she does they usually involve recent events or things she was thinking about. She also tends to have dreams about being successful and achieving some high position back home.
  5. Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?
    1. Yes. Theo's nightmares usually involve genocide being committed against her race while she is the sole survivor. Her nightmares can also involve her being publicly humiliated or being imprisoned in a small space that is slowly closing in on her.
  6. In what situation was your character the most afraid?
    1. Any time she is in danger and cannot escape or entrapment in general. This includes being kidnapped, trapped, enslaved, or being forced to do something. She also becomes terrified whenever she is in a small space, especially if there is a low ceiling, seeing as the Altalar suffers from claustrophobia.
  7. In what situation was your character the calmest?
    1. Studying or researching stuff. Theo has done these activities so much that doing them calms and relaxes her.
  8. Is your character bothered by the sight of blood?
    1. Yes. She will faint if she sees blood.
  9. Does your character remember faces or names better?
    1. Names. Theo makes an effort to remember people's full names but often forgets what they look like in the process.
  10. Which does your character value more: success or happiness?
    1. Success.
  11. Is your character more likely to value wisdom or ambition in others?
    1. Wisdom.

    1. Her selfishness is by far her biggest relationship flaw. It has yet to destroy a relationship for her, though.
  13. In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation or self-criticism?
    1. Theo compares herself to others for self-validation. She enjoys the feeling of being better than someone.
  14. In the event of something tragic or negative, is your character more likely to believe they're to blame or are they quick to blame others?
    1. Quick to blame others
  15. What does your character like to see in others?
    1. Intelligence.
  16. What does your character hate to see in others?
    1. Ironically, over inflated egos. Especially if they make it well known how highly they think of themselves.
  17. How does your character act around children?
    1. Theo generally tries to avoid children. When she is forced to interact with them, though, she is usually very cold and standoffish. She has also been known to try and shoo them away or even ignore them.
  18. In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?
    1. Defensive. Theo will often harshly critique the criticizer back in an attempt to make them feel bad about themselves and stop.
  19. Has your character ever had a parental figure that was not related to them?
    1. No.
  20. Is your character more concerned in defending their honor or protecting their status?
    1. Protecting her status. Theo could care less about honor and is not above doing something considered disgraceful to better herself.

  • Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?
    • Edmure doesn't have too many family members in his particular age group. None that he is close to anyway. He loves his sister Devona, most of all, and the rest of his family share a second place, though his respect for the different individuals varies.
  • Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
    • A certain event that not only forced him to reconsider his fundamental perception of faith, life, death, and honor. One of those that know may be far gone, the other is dead.
  • On an average day, what can be found in your character's pockets (or whatever they hold their stuff in)?
    • Most commonly a small pouch of regals and his saber, if he is allowed to carry it. He doesn't take a lot of things with him. If he needs something, he can always buy it.
  • Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?
    • He always has a sensation of wind in his hair, but nothing else.
  • Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?
    • Screaming undead and dark dungeons.
  • In what situation was your character the most afraid?
    • During a scene in his capture by the Devout few.
  • In what situation was your character the calmest?
    • Finding himself waking up in a hospital bed to the sight of his cousin Dianne.
  • Is your character bothered by the sight of blood?
    • He doesn't like seeing it, but it doesn't bother him or disturb him.
  • Does your character remember faces or names better?
    • Faces.
  • Which does your character value more: success or happiness?
    • Success definitely. To realize your ambitions, you must sometimes put the happiness of yourself, and others, to side.
  • Is your character more likely to value wisdom or ambition in others?
    • Ambition. A clear goal is only achievable if one is stoneset on it.
  • What is your character's biggest relationship flaw? Has this ever destroyed a relationship for them?
    • His sense of duty, both to the empire and his family.
  • In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation or self-criticism?
    • Self-criticism. Seeing someone fail or suceed causes him to rethink his methods.
  • In the event of something tragic or negative, is your character more likely to believe they're to blame or are they quick to blame others?
    • He is rational enough not to blame himself for events he could have no influence upon, and so he'd take a look at the event and figure out if anyone /could've/ done anything to begin with.
  • What does your character like to see in others?
    • Rationality and maturity.
  • What does your character hate to see in others?
    • Childishness and sore-losers.
  • How does your character act around children?
    • Very much depends upon the child. He is more likely to take on an elder brotherly role, since he never had children himself.
  • In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?
    • Defensive if he believes he has done nothing wrong. Willing to improve if they can offer arguments as to why they think he is wrong, and self-deprecation if he is criticised or blamed for the death or misery of others, however only when he knows that he did play a role in it.
  • Has your character ever had a parental figure that was not related to them?
    • None come to mind.
  • Is your character more concerned in defending their honor or protecting their status?
    • His very upbringings and roots are based on honor. He will always defend his honor, though if he can sacrifice his own for the sake of his roots, he will.
