  • Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Good Regalian People,

On the 22nd of May, I turned myself into the Regalian authorities in response to the accusations against my family by the Lord Chancellor's declaration. This gesture is not a confession of guilt, but rather, a necessary step in proving our innocence.

Prior to handing myself to the Regalian authorities, I sent word to the Regalian Judiciary to petition for a trial so that we would not be executed without the chance to prove our innocence. If you are reading this, it is because the Regalian authorities that have imprisoned us in Krakenburg have refused to grant us a trial. Though the Regalian legal system assumes guilt until innocence can be proven, to refuse the accused the opportunity to prove their innocence turns "guilty until proven innocent" into "always guilty". The decision to allow the trial to proceed is in the hands of the Regalian Judiciary, and I encourage that the support for the trial is expressed by lovers of law and order until a date has been announced.

I believe that it is of the utmost importance to offer the public an explanation. Wolvard od Albion, Alaric Keen, and I had warned the Lord Chancellor of an ongoing, du Brierust-led scheme to impeach him and have him replaced with a member House Drachenburg. Not a week later, the Lord Chancellor arrested Wolvard od Albion, Theopold Kreiburg, and I for conspiring to violently overthrow the state. Wilheim od Albion was never arrested, despite being accused of the same crime. Despite us three being released, Count Harhold declared Wilheim od Albion a ward of House Harhold, vindicating him of the charges to violently overthrow the state. Now, Wilheim od Albion and his family stand accused of the same crime that Count Harhold had already vindicated him of.

It thus becomes clear that this second wave of arrests for something that we had already been vindicated or found innocent for is nothing more than a scheme by the Lord Chancellor to intimidate those that are currently planning to begin impeachment proceedings against him. Count Harhold's decision to vindicate Wilheim od Albion was used by the Lord Chancellor to establish a connection between the noble house and ourselves in order to fabricate an accusation to facilitate the political intimidation tactic. It is a shame that a war hero and patriot such as Count Hengest Harhold has had his good name smeared by these false accusations and decrees. The rest of us falsely accused are good Unionists that have faithfully served the Empire and uncovered treason and heresy in service to the Lord Chancellor, and I find it regrettable that we now find ourselves betrayed like so simply because of political convenience.

Sincerely,
Isidoro Playero

The following section of the letter is written in blood, and a different font as if a finer pen was used.

It appeared rushed.

There is no evidence of the crimes for which we have been accused of. They are torturing and starving us to force us to confess to crimes which we did not do, because they know they need something for the trial. Since they can't touch Count Harhold, they are putting pressure on us, the commoners, instead.

Isidoro did not deliver this letter from prison. There was an appropriate roleplay to have this letter made public. I posted it from my account to preserve the anonymity of those involved.

Alaric Keen glanced down the corridor of the dungeon, shivering from its briny temperature. He then looked at Isidoro, squinting down to see him in the dark better, only to nod and peer outside of the cell.
**
He knew there was much to be done, and felt hope in the comfort people brought him. Although being physically ruined, Alaric sat down and prayed.

There is a disclaimer posted above at the end of the letter, which goes "Isidoro did not deliver this letter from prison. There was an appropriate roleplay to have this letter made public. I posted it from my account to preserve the anonymity of those involved."

To all those curious,

House du Brierüst had no part in whatever "scheme" is mentioned here. The allegation that we would seek out, and work with, those who had turned against our family and attempted to repeatedly publicly scorn it is laughable.

Signed,
Milena du Brierüst.

The decision to allow the trial to proceed is in the hands of the Regalian Judiciary,

"He takes one sentence to slander me and then writes another that immediately contradicts his accusation. Even as Lord Chancellor, I do not hold the power to permit or revoke trials from happening. This is entirely the prerogative of the Regalian Judiciary."

Not a week later, the Lord Chancellor arrested Wolvard od Albion, Theopold Kreiburg, and I for conspiring to violently overthrow the state. Wilheim od Albion was never arrested, despite being accused of the same crime.

"I had already been made aware of the plot to unseat myself as Chancellor two weeks prior, but this is not why you were imprisoned. You were imprisoned because an informant informed the State that you and your associates, namely the Marienritters and House du Brierust, were plotting to attempt to seize Greygate Isle to cripple the military strength of the Regalian State. The only reason Wolvard was not detained is because he purposefully evaded arrest."

Now, Wilheim od Albion and his family stand accused of the same crime that Count Harhold had already vindicated him of.

"Wilhelm was not imprisoned for the aforementioned crimes, but instead because two entirely separate witnesses approached me informing that there would soon be yet another attempt to seize me and my members of the state, spearheaded by the Count Hengest Harhold and his new du Albion and Playero mutts. His lordship has always been fond of adopting feral strays to perform his dirty work. Furthermore, these allegations coincide with yet another plot, with the hopeful outcome resulting in my death.

In summary, you are not imprisoned because I am fearful of being unseated as Chancellor. In fact, I plan to resign at the end of this Clicker Crisis. What you are however imprisoned for is your complicity in a plot to coup the Regalian State, and a plot to execute the Lord Chancellor. It has been made abundantly clear to me that I am not well-liked, but even still, the people of Regalia know me to be more honest than you and your heretic Marienritter friends.

Signed by,
His Eminence
Lord Chancellor of the Regalian Empire
Prince of Pays-Sud
Grand Duke Elector of Basta-Irvelle
Louis Delmotte

Wolvard sat in his cell- having willingly turned himself in, tucking his knees into his chest as he leaned against the stone wall beside the hanging Xabi, who now had a table under his legs to allow him to stand as oppose to dangle. While it was not his choice, today marked the first day of his hunger strike.
