- "Born" into the world again as a Mëseillaad - a lost soul entrapped in a chassis of dark metal - Loic was made to serve as an agent capable of infiltrating strongholds and exterminating the targets therein. On one such mission, Loic encountered and engaged a crew of adventurers who were coincidentally after the very same treasure he was sent to retrieve. A battle ensued, and after Loic's defeat, rather than putting the accursed machine out of its misery, they instead broke the necromantic fetters on Loic's mind, freeing the weakened construct from the icy grip of his master.
- Following this encounter, a vulnerable and confused Loic set off on a lonely path, agonized by the torrent of previously sealed memories now flooding his mind. Each piece, however, was little more than a fragment of the past, with dates, faces, and locations lost. Seeking a way to ease the suffering, he sought out his erstwhile saviours, who gladly accepted him into their party. With these new companions, Loic was given not only a purpose, but much needed time to heal. Together the five scoured Aloria, travelling by horse and ship on myriad adventures. In time, Loic would hone his skills as a warrior further, trading his prowess as an assassin for an indomitable strength of form.
- Eventually, time and the disparate needs of the party had began to fray their cohesion, ultimately resulting in the group disbanding - albeit on warm terms. It was not long after the breaking up of the party that word of civil war in Ellador, his forsaken homeland, reached Loic. The opportunity to take vengeance on his Rexit masters was one too rich to ignore. By road and sail, Loic travelled to Ellador, engaging in the conflict as a rogue arbiter of violence.
- With the signing of an armistice, Loic has redirected his attention to Regalia, where many of his former enemies have fled.
