• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Like Mother Like Daughter

The pair walked the halls of the d'Eluise estate. The taller of the pair had their face in the book. The subject was of no importance as the smaller had no interest in it, yet she followed along. Nicolas hadn't cared much for the child, let alone her other siblings from the litter. As far as he was concerned Roselyne and Nicolette were the only niece he had. So he continued at his pace, face in book. Finally he stopped at a sofa in front of one of the estates many large windows, taking a seat. The small Vivienne, only four years of age at the time plopped up onto the seat beside him. The d'Eluise male looked down at the small child. Why did she insist on following him? The child smiled up at him, simply content with being in the estate with her uncle. He looked at her face, studying all of her features. She had her mothers eyes. It was nice to not have that cold judgement staring back at him. How the years have passed since they were children. A small grin appears on Nicolas' face as he looks back to his book. Quite some years indeed.

The Norrvakt sat in his chambers. He rubbed a hand over his bald head, looking up at the large mirror in front of him. Carthas sat upright looking over his scarred and tattooed body. In his thirty nine years of life he had not anticipated to be in this position. He studies each of his numerous tattoos, the piece across his abdomen catches his eye. 'Des actes forts, des paroles douces.' 'Strong Deeds, Gentle Words.' He recollects the last interaction he had with his former family. His niece, in the tavern. He had called the Ithanian court pigs and the girl defended him. He thought back to that day in the d'Eluise estate. Out of all the moments, that one stood out. The way she just smiled back at him. The defense that day showed that the girl still loved her uncle, despite her best efforts to remove him just as his sister had. "Vivienne d'Eluise. You are just like your mother, the same attitude, but there's something that I cannot seem to place my finger on." Carthas shakes his head laughing at the thought. "Perhaps it is in our best interest to pay them a visit, eh Nicolas?" This time there is no jar to leave a response. During his leave in the North it was probably disposed of or misplaced. Still, a response is received. "It will be nice to see the family again, won't it?" The Norrvakt awaits a response, "No, I have no intentions to be taken back. I am not one of them anymore. Remember Nicolas, you were the dog, I am the wolf." Carthas rises from his seat in front of the mirror and moves to his desk. "I'll be penning my sister a letter- No. Vivienne. I'll be penning my... darling niece a letter."

Dearest Vivienne,

My how the years have passed. I have no doubts that my name has been the token of shame within the family yet again. My heresy is nothing to be taken lightly, I know I didn't. I have been in the North, training in the School of Blackmark. Now I have returned to set where I left off. This leads me to this letter I pen to you this day. I wish to lay our bad blood to rest. Between myself and the family. It has already been established that I am not welcome, but if you are who I believe you to be this will be no issue. I will be coming to the estate in the coming days for dinner. I remember the location well. Tell my sister if you deem it necessary, I know she must be dying to see what her brother has been up to all these years. I will be seeing you soon my dear. Send my regards to the whole family.

With love,
Carthas Norrvakt
-Nicolas, your uncle

Yes, I am your uncle, you may continue to deny it, but we share the same blood. We can talk this over dinner.

With the letter written the Norrvakt seals it in an envelope and sends it out. There is something about that Vivienne. Something is there and the one formerly known as Nicolas d'Eluise wants to figure that out.
