Hey everyone! Some of you might have seen me around, and I thought it would be appropriate to write a little thing on my background, as that seems to be the cool thing to do at the moment.
So, I'm a fifteen year old male born in August, in Queensland, Australia! I love my country, and I don't think I'd like to live anywhere else. Many people think I'm British when they first hear me, as I sound a bit posh in person. I'm not sure why this is, but hey, British people are neat! I'm around 5'8", and I weigh also around 52kg. I am very thin, despite the fact that I eat a lot of food.
At an early age I took a great interest in computers, and at age ten I began to learn how to code. I've coded in Python for five years now, Java for one, Lua for two, along with a few smatterings of other languages (including HTML and JavaScript, even though HTML isn't a programming language). I'm very passionate about computers, as lame as it sounds. I wouldn't say there are many interesting things that have happened in my life, though a few notable things would be my scholarship to a private school, and, uh. Honestly, there isn't much. I'm currently looking to go to Uni and get a degree in either Software Engineering or Computer Science. Or maybe even both? Who knows. I used to do acting, in which I was told that I was good, but I have some sort of aversion for anything to do with theory in that aspect. I was only good at the practical side. For that reason, I dropped acting last year. I think acting has made me a tonne more confident than I used to be!
I've been in a debating team for three years, and I really enjoy public speaking in general. Though I haven't won anything in it, I've made it quite close in the finals rounds. For any debaters out there, I detest short preparation debates. I'm also generally the first or third speaker, as second speaker is too varied for my taste.
On a deeper note, my granddad died when I was six, with my other granddad dying at age twelve, with my grandma following suit the next year, with my last grandma passing away this year. Unfortunately that leaves me with no 'grand' relatives, though I still have my close family, which I'm very grateful for.
In the year 2013, I found Massive when I was just looking for a roleplay server - out of a hunch. Back then, my internet was really slow, so I took about thirty minutes downloading the texture pack whilst reading the limited amount of lore. I refused to log on, unless I had the texture pack. After absorbing the race lore, I decided to become some subrace of Tigran, and on I logged. It was a tad shaky for me for a while (after all, it was the first time I'd ever roleplayed). With the shelving of this Tigran, aptly named 'Twinken' after my username back then, 'MrTwinkeh' - I made a new character. This one was a highly militant anti-vampire character. As you can see, all of my characters pushed against the norm somewhat. 'Leon Vill' tried his darndest to create the Crimson Inquisition again, though I managed to create a rag-tag group called the Red Legacy instead. We did some 'arrests', and such, and it was quite fun. He was also shelved.
My next character was a Thylan named 'Kalti'. By far, one of my most favourite characters. He was made over a year ago now, but he still exists. I find him very entertaining to play as - bouncing around, annoying people, making snide comments and making obsessions over the littlest things. After a year of purely playing Kalti, some of my most recent characters came into being. These being 'Alba Monataigu', 'Ludvig Kardos', and 'Steven Estrada'. Alba isn't quite finished off, as she's my first female character, but Ludvig and Steven are doing quite well. Steven was a sort of respectful nod to Kalti, in that he does much of the same things, but is obviously quite a bit different. Ludvig is my currently most played character. He's the 'don't judge a book by its cover' one, in that on the outside he is shy and reserved, though he actually has three decades of combat experience.
For some reason I feel like making a list of likes and dislikes, so uh. Here we go.
