• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Someone give @qgmk a Medal. Like literally, we need to like... get one of those online engravers to make him a medal that says "2021 MassiveCraft Staff Awards - First Place - Common Sense" or something. These are the changes we all needed.

Yes, I was one of them. Loving what I see. It would have been nice to have a bit more coastal access for those folks who like to build ports, but that's fine there'll be other maps for them as well. All in all, 10/10 EricKilla approved.

The gesture is appreciated. Hopefully that will serve as an extra incentive for you guys can come back. Chappers' gotta get his lore staff heads somehow ;)

Otherwise:

-Desert Biome: Looks great. Glad to see that the ruins have been more sparsely populated. They were a bit ridic in Essa. The wall idea sounds really interesting.

-Mushroom Biome: Looks really good as well. So much better than in Essa.

-Roads: Exciting to see! I'm in the Alorian Road Service, and it's exciting to see that most of our work will be done for us on this lol.

-Other biomes: Look good.

-Caves: IMHO I think we can just say "Screw 1.18" and just go with caves as they are now, e.g. like they are on Essa.

-LONIA MAP NAME: NO DO NOT PLEASE NO NONONONO NO NO. NOOOOOOOOO. Please name it something else.

LASTLY - holding to release with "desired plugin(s) we've been waiting for a while" aka Kingdoms - YES DO THAT PLEASE.

Thanks Marty. All told, from what I see so far, I think, even objectively without the lens of nostalgia, this'll be one of the best survival maps released in a long time. Top shelf, Bra-vo.
