• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Going to keep this short and simple. I was wandering around the BukkitDev forums and found a super neat plugin called InfoBook. InfoBook is a plugin that, when a user first logs in, gives him a pre-written book that can be edited by different players. Certain guides to lore, economy, and/or rules could be given to him/her to learn about the server and its ways.

This might be good as an extra tip-off info for players to check out the massivecraft website (which has rules and lore), forums (which has rules and lore), and the in-game info hub. It might also be useful if something unique was placed into the books for the new player that might not be immediately spelled out where they can access it easily (being new and most likely ignorant)- for example, something like the Regalian Guard book which is not found online, but is strictly found in game.

Otherwise it wouldn't be very useful because there is lore completely set up on the website and forums, and the info hub (pretty much where a user first spawns) exists with basic information already set up.
