• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Was thinking about this today. In new orleans they have vampire balls (hehe). I think they have one in new york too. Anyway, since we have vampires on the server I thought it would be cool to have one. Whether or not I'd have to throw it myself I don't know. My place might be big enough but I've never thrown an event before, especially not one that might have a lot of RP. We could even do a theater des vampires thing like from Interview with a vampire! It could be cool and cheesy and dark and fun. It's just an idea but it could be an awesome real thing if the right people get involved. Would be great to do it this month, close to Halloween. Lemme know your thoughts down below.

in my head it was taking place at my mansion in Jorr. it has a ball room and stuff. But really it doesn't matter where it happens. I just want it to be a bit "up scale" if there is such a thing in mc lol
 
i realized the problem with it being in Jorr would be getting people there. I don't have a portal or anything so i'd basically have to give them coords.
 
If you set it up with staff two weeks in advance they could set up a tp and punish raiders, but... This is a roleplay event, no? What's the IC motive/reasoning behind it, and who would be hosting it ICly, where, so on.

that's where i'm torn. part of me just wishes it could be an event on its own with no role play. Just real people in game, not necessarily in character. I didn't think about needing an rp reason.
 
maybe i'll just make it a halloween party with prizes or something. No role play required. Just a party.
 
A party would work but a in rp one would be...

Uhh... Lot's of screaming and fights. Probably a dead animal or two on the dance floor.
