"Let me tell you a story..." | The Short History of House von Caldrin
↠ While other families might have longer lineages, the story of House von Caldrin begins with, and is currently being told by, the Countess of Charlotteburg, Gabrielle. The main notable members of the House being her remaining non-estranged sibling Rowland, and her ward, Maisie, that has recently come of age and brought into the family.
↠ After splitting away from her previous household under her Viridian cousin, she pulled from the generational wealth and inheritances that would've otherwise gone to siblings by virtue of being the only one left in good standing, as well as some well timed investments into the newly established firearms industry. Because of this, the family is still considered blue-blooded. Some might call the family a branch of the more notable House Typhonus, but no such official connection exists and familial relations with the ruling line of that House are distant at best.
The colors Green and Black and the Crow Eagle serve as a reminder of House Typhonus and House von Moritz, who the Countess was apart of in her earilier years in the capital.
The colors Teal and Gray serve as a reminder of Countess's time in the State Metropolitan as a Commissioner and as a Mercenary company leader. These colors were the main colors for the Ardhund Brigade.
The Arrows are a symbol of the archers in House von Caldrin. Both Countess Gabrielle and Lady Maisie have graduated from Calemberg's Griffer Academy for girls. The Griffer Academy developed both of the ladies in their youth, and help them develop their independent mindset.
The Calemberg Ardhund (the dog) is a representation of the Countess's canine companion Aldo.
The Black-eyed Susans (flowers at the bottom) are a symbol of Justice, which the family strongly believes in.
The Lantern is a symbol for "the light that guides them home" and lost family. The family has lost many to the curse of Vampirism and war.

↠ The head of the House, Gabrielle has branched from her Typhonus family line to embrace Regalian politics head-on. She has taken to facing the challenges of leading a Court family while navigating the delicate nature of tending to Wirtem lands, maintaining a moderate to conservative approach to politics.

↠ The second-eldest brother to the Countess, Rowland found himself wrapped up in the knightly duties of the Viridian Order since his arrival to the city. He is described as a stereotypical Wirtem man.

↠ For the last several years, the family of Lukas von Caldrin presumed him dead after the Regalian-Sendrass Conflict. His re-appearance has caused a stir within his family and the Viridian Order as he returns to Regalia to resume his Montefalco duties.

↠ Adopted before she was eighteen, Maisie comes from a background of Gallovian heritage. Before being sent off to schooling, the girl was known to be unruly and voice loud opinions. The family waits to see how she has improved since her return.

We have some simple rules/concepts to keep in mind when applying for family members.
↠ Being self-motivated in roleplay is key. While the family/group does do semi-consistent roleplay with each other, it is important that you remember we might not always be around. You may have to form your own relationships/friendships with other characters and have a presence.
↠ Your family character must be played semi-regularly. Inactive family members will be removed if no notice is given.
↠ You are expected to adhere to a set of rules for OOC and IC. These will be discussed if your character concept is accepted. (Trust me they aren't anything too hard core).
↠ Noble characters must act like noble characters. I don't want you running into Crookback (I did that) and trying to save your vampiric sister (I did that) because you love them so much that you can't let them go (I did that). So don't do that.
