House Thiel has roots in Gallovia dating back to 130 AC, starting with Ronan Thiel; the first patriarch to carry the Thiel name. He wanted more for his family, and so he spent his remaining funds on a patch of land in Eriu-Innis. Turns out, this land had an untapped emerald mine, and so Ronan struck "gold", solidifying his place in the world. He couldn't handle working the mines alone, and so he bought a batch of slaves, starting the Thiel's business in slave trading. His son, Sean was jealous of his father's power, and so in the dead of night, he murdered his own mother and father in cold blood; the patriarchy immediately going to him. Under him, the Thiel name became infamous for their unrelenting cruelty towards their workers. Surprisingly enough, some brave woman was willing to marry him; bearing three of his children before dying of an unexplained death. Broken from the grief of losing his wife, Sean passed, leaving the family in the care of young Liam.
Liam wanted nothing to do with his family business, and so moved to Regalia to pursue a career in military. Deemed too weak and pathetic, he was cast out and returned to Gallovia with his brother, Kieran. His other sibling, Lili stayed in Regalia to continue her life there. In an unexpected twist of fate, both Liam and Kieran died while on the boat back to their homeland. Lili unwillingly took control of the family and under her, the Thiel name thrived more than ever. She married, but kept her name for the sake of her own family. Lili gave birth to one son, and when she was too old to properly handle the toils of managing a whole family, she passed the baton to her oldest and only child, Lucas. To celebrate, he went out for a night of drinking; the result of that night ending with two children; Faelan and Róisín (later named Rose)
Growing tired of Regalia, Faelan moved back to Gallovia and settled there. Róisín stayed in Regalia for many years before moving back to Eriu-Innis. From there, Faelan changed his surname to Riordan. He was tired of carrying the weight of the Thiel name, leaving all the business managing to his sister. The Thiel name died out and was revived when Faelan's only daughter managed to pull them out of their slumber and into the ranks of the noble peerage.

Men of the family are stocky, built and ripped. They vary in height, but the main range is 5'10 to 6'5. They all end up with red or light auburn hair along with green or blue eyes. Most of the men have beards by the time they reach sixteen years of age.

Female Thiels grow up to be curvaceous, and usually don't get taller than 5'9". They all either have red or light auburn hair with green or blue eyes. The females on the cousin line from Eriu-Innis have the same traits as the main line, but have faintly pointed ears.

The only thing keeping her from taking it from Cressida is the fact that she loves her sister dearly. She would find herself doing anything for her, and would fiercely protect her to the death, if need be.
