FAMILY HISTORY SUMMARIZED

• 182 AC: House Shcherbyna's history begins in Essalonia, where the small family resided under a wave of magical scrutiny. Searching for a way to escape persecution, their prayers were answered when the Regalian Empire won the family Skagger war and established land conquered for fleeing Krainivayan people. Shcherbyna traveled to and settled on a patch of mineral-poor land in the newly established Zemlya Obitovana.
• 183 AC - 230 AC: Much of Shcherbyna's older generations were integrated into the Krsnik branch of the Oprichnyy while the younger generations began their first service to the Regalian Military and Zemlya Obitovana guard forces.
• 279 AC: Due to the family's connections with the Krsnik, the death of Justinian II's three sons directly affected their duties. Orders from above had Shcherbyna's Patriarch Kostyantyn and his two brothers relocated elsewhere in the archipelago to combat the magical corruption that had seeped deep into the pores of the Regalian citizenry. Their successes were great, though not without the cost of losing one brother in active duty. Kostyantyn and his remaining brother returned home, where they and their Krsnik peers were knighted under the Lothar banner. Kostyantyn received one final reward for he and his family's long-term dedication to the Empire, and was thus ennobled alongside his knighthood.
• 285 AC: Kostyantyn died and House leadership was transferred over to the eldest of his two sons, Matviy who was a young Lothar Knight himself.
• 310 AC: Leadership under Matviy has been relatively the same as when his father was the patriarch, leading with the very same iron fist as the generations before him had. The family has since been relocated to Regalia.

  • House Shcherbyna is a Blue Blood noble family based entirely on Purist, militarist, and radical ideologies due to their connections to the Oprichnyy and Lothar Order. This means you should rethink your application if you expect something other than heavy scrutiny in Roleplay scenarios, and likely your fair share of conflict. Buzzwords for the family include: Knights, military, affliction hunters, Krainivayan secret service agents (Oprichnyy), politics, business, Purist, Unionist, Northern.

• On activity...
  • I prefer that when you apply, your Shcherbyna becomes your main or secondary character. There are no strict requirements on activity, but I request you at least play them once a week for presence. If something isn't working out for you, communication is key. Discord required.

• On what ISN'T permitted...
  • Characters that are not Krainivayan Ailor or Urlan are not permitted in House Shcherbyna. Furthermore, your character must be Purist and a Regalian Empire loyalist, however, does not have to be a Lothar Knight, militant, or combat-aligned at all. Just note that if your character concept is contrary to the ideologies listed on this page, you will be denied with a request to fix whatever issue may arise.
