• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

A bit of music to listen to while you read

I - Introduction
The Hospitaller Guard Order of Regalia is the birthing of an order to put the defense of hospitals, clinics, apothecaries, and all those buildings and organizations that would service the poor, sick, and misplaced above all else. Not only within the Holy City itself, but also on the battlefields and foreign countries that have hospitals in which The Spirit is praised. The order, currently, is not officially supported by the Synod; however, they feel no need to have the Synod officially proclaim them - believing their mission was brought about by The Spirit himself.

II - The Mission of the Order
With great zealous calling those of the order believe in protecting any and all organizations that would promote the healing of mankind and also service of the Spirit. To protect the weak, disheartened, and sick from the torments that would latch themselves upon those that could not otherwise defend themselves.

III - History of the Order
This order itself is quite new, in fact, only made in 305 AC by their First Grand Master Yariel Kearney after her realization of the importance of both protecting those that heal the subjects of the Spirit and to protect the image of the Spirit itself. Though it is well known by close friends of herself and her family that the woman had revered the Claith religions closely before. Believing in Fae and elves superiority before being converted by a Drowdar in the Holy City. She had first served the Crown City Sawbones and Vigilant Shield before realizing her true purpose in life - to found an order based around serving the Spirit and those that would perform deeds upon the land that would improve mankind far and wide. So, upon an early dawn the First Grand Master Yariel Kearney settled the order unofficially within a building in the Slums district, the unofficial first headquarters of the Hospitaller Guard Order of Regalia.

IV - Ranking

Grand Master (Yariel Kearney - @MrChadington)
This title is granted upon the leader of the order. Currently, the only way to gain this title is by recommendation of the previous Grand Master and then upon their death are appointed. They lead the order in all affairs; however, they do not create any orders. Rather, the Grand Master is given their task by the Spirit either by vocal speech or by visions believed to be induced by the Spirit.

Grand Commander (N/A)
Granted by appointment of the Grand Master. This position leads movement of the troops, leads events for the order, and leads the order to fulfill objectives given by the Grand Master. The Commander is generally well-versed in combat, has served as a Marshal in his years within the order, and promotes the ideals of the order through actions and word.

Marshal (N/A)
Appointed by the Grand Commander to lead deployments of Brother-Knights. This position is the 'captain' of each battalion of Brother-Knights. These men or women play a vital role in the conduct of each deployment, as most under them have barely any true combat experience.

Brother-Knights (N/A)
Though the title may hold 'Knight' within, none of the holders of this position are of noble birth, nor officially recognized as knights. Rather, they are guards of the hospital, clinic, apothecary, or whatever building they may have been deployed to. This position is acquired when one has learned the mission of the order through and through, and is not based on combat experience or position in life.

Custodians (N/A)
Drawing from their birthplace within the Sawbones, the order holds the position of Custodian within its own ranks. These commoners are meant to watch the Brother-Knights in action to gain experience of what the mission of the order truly is. 'Hazing' is quite common at this stage, with many silly tasks being asked of the Custodians to improve esprit de corps and to test the loyalty of the newcomer.

IGN:
Character Name:
Character Sheet (N/A if none):
Short Character Description:
Short In-Character Letter:
  • The order doesn't really deny any characters based on combat experience, rather their devotion to the Spirit and to the mission of the order itself.
  • While the order technically operates out of the slum, you may not try to fight crime within it. We just defense hospitals and the like - this isn't a general city guard charter.
  • This charter does not hold any weapon, armor, or most any permissions granted by the city. So trying to guard with anything more than your fists and some spare clothes you have will likely get you arrested.
  • The order does not currently employ any uniforms, most characters are encouraged to wear their own clothing and are given a small cloth with the emblem of the order on it to identify.
