• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Alright, so cutting to the chase here, I'm Koboldism. Long story short, my original minecraft account got hacked around December last year, I managed to recover this old forum account, but soon I'll delete this one in favor of a new one soon. I was known on Massivecraft by a lot of aliases: gogreygo, MTGWhiteWizard to name a few. Anyways, I'm not here to try to sell anything, I'm more here, as the title suggests, to understand and try to digest everything that has gone down since I left in 2016-2017; around the time when the server was undergoing new leadership. Don't bother messaging this account, but do please comment if feel like updating me, a returning player, on what's gone down lore wise and server wise for three years!
 
I can't really recall much all the way back in 2016-17, but I can fill you in on the more recent news. :)

Since December 2019:

Clicker Crisis, the world almost ended because Void demons opened up rifts within Regalia. Three huge battles occurred all at once (OOCly they were on different days, but that's a story for another time), in which bands of the Regalian populace utterly kicked demon teeth in. The world shook, literally, the stars went out of the sky, and then the Crisis was over! (Although there is a huge crater in the middle of the city.)

That's the big news, the small news is:
  • Dietrich Drachenburg is now Lord a Chancellor, he is heavily conservative, so prepare for that. He made magic illegal (with a twist: if you register with the guards(?) they might let you cast, but general there's no magic unless you're a Noble Court Mage.
  • War strikes! House Harhold vs House Kreiburg and House Latimer within Anglia. Vlissinghelm was sieged, but it was more or less defended (with some outside help). Although right when a peace treaty was made, the Kreiburgs has village homes burnt to a crisp, as we'll see how that goes.
  • War strikes- again! On a bigger note, void infected Allar are rioting in Hadar and destroying the place. Worse yet, they're now sailing towards Regalian places, which is a terrifying idea of demon lizards in your lands. War was just declared like two days ago, we'll see how that goes as well.
  • Anti-Magic groups swarm through noble owned lands trying to lynch anymore they think might be aberrant. Most noble houses have declared them illegal. On the other hand, a Pro-Magic cult is in action throughout Avalorn lands and on the mission of mutating otherwise mundane people.
  • Within Regalia itself, there is a HUGE Vampires vs Werebeasts arc happening right now and it's entirely player led! Xilthruum the Vampire Lich has successfully beaten Lorelei's Pack in several huge fights, including one just the other day where his coven took over her castle. Right now, all seems rather gloomy for the Beasts, but who knows when the vampiric luck is going to run out...
  • Speaking of Vampires, another coven (the Ichor Sovereignty) has been causing chaos recently! Biggest of which is the fact that the leader, Bethlehem, recently kidnapped Countess Dianne Black and declared himself her second husband (much to the unhappiness of Dianne's actual husband - Count Black- and every other member of nobility). As such, there is now a bounty of 24,000 regals on his head. Happy hunting!
