Appearance Information

✧Hesti is a short and skinny oviraptor with orange plumage, olive green eyes, and a yellow beak. She has thin-clawed talons for her hands and feet tipped with short claws. The sides of her forearms have wing-like feathers similar to her real life inspiration of a Dromaeosaurid. Her tail is long and ends in a peacock-like spread of darker feathers. She typically dresses in warm, loose fitting clothes like jackets and scarves.​

Plot Hooks

✧Alchemist Aspirant: Hesti was born, genetically-modified, and groomed to fit the role of an alchemist perfectly. She has an almost photographic memory when it comes to alchemical ingredients, tincture recipes, and biochemical equations. She seeks approval and recognition from fellow alchemists and scholars whenever possible. ​

✧Hadarian Hatchling: Hesti lived in Hadar for most of her life, even during the most pivotal point of recent Allar history: The Regalian-Sendrassian War. Like many alchemists, she followed the Regalian warband on its safari through the Hadar Archipelago. The horrors she witnessed scarred her wholly, leaving her jumpy and physically unwell. She distrusts Evolists, but also knights who she saw commit atrocities in the name of empire. ​

✧Allar Expatriate: Hesti is far from the clammy air and rolling seas of Hadar, leaving her anxious and longing for company. She will seek out Allar and Slizzar where possible to make acquaintances if only for the comfort of familiarity. ​

✧Blacksigil Member: Hesti is a vocal, in her own way, member of the Black Sigil society, but errs on the side of humane experimentation when compared to her more eccentric peers. Though, she is not without her own eccentricities. She will befriend Black Sigil members and exchange information, even if she often keeps her own notes a secret. ​
