"Let me be the first to welcome you here in the Hall of Citizen Administration to the City State of Helvetica! A bustling metropolitan capital, just waiting for you to nestle into, explore, and set up shop in. If you are looking for a cultured and familial faction to settle into and from which to launch your adventures, this is the city for you!" He leads you to one of the counters where you soon fill out the necessary paperwork and are informed briefly of the code of conduct expected from Helvetica's citizens.

A spot of History: Though far from being considered archaic, Helveticans have long withstood the tests of time. Nestling peacefully into the serene islands of Southern Essalonia they established a venetian-inspired merchant city. Laced with culture, unique architecture and an overwhelming sense of adventure the city spreads over an entire archipelago, winding alleyways flanked by rich colourful houses of the people. Helvetica and it's capital city have become known amongst friends and foes alike as a capital of neutrality where negotiation and tolerance is precedent.
Located in the heart Essalonia, Helvetica's capital has grown from one thriving merchant city into a conglomeration of multiple outposts across that same continent. Diplomatic missions, trade exploration and the incomparably friendly character of the Helveticans have recently led to various other cities and cultures merging with Helvetica, not to lose their own sense of identity, but rather to join in and contribute to the faction's strong sense of community and friendship.
Helvetica has withered the test of time, having been founded in 2012, it has braved the test of time having gone from Ellador to New Cederia and now finally to Essalonia, the current incarnation pays homage to our forefathers with our simple and unique architecture.
What Helvetica offers you: Helvetica consists of vast cities dotted with housing, workshops and stores. We do not necessarily partake in warfare, but rather hope that once you have received your house you will be intrigued and motivated enough to find your own adventure and interact with the other members running around town. Upon joining you will receive a house that is yours to decorate (not modify structurally). From there on you are free to explore and familiarise yourself with the city. Once you feel you know the place and enjoy the company of our tightly knit community then you can chose a profession. These usually come with a stand alone workshop of store where you will be able to sell your produce to the faction. This transaction constitutes your "wage". In exchange though, and in order to maintain a self sufficient cycle within our community we provide the food in the faction and ask our members to respect this balance.
Summary:
Helvetica not only offers its citizens housing, but also the opportunity to pursue specialised professions. Each profession comes with a workshop or workstation which is private to the player. The player then earns money by selling the unique product their produce back to the faction (prices for the goods are based on close and constantly updated market analysis). Currently available jobs include:
Butcher - leather / beef -
Fisherman - fish -
Intelligence Agent - information -
Scribe - writing of books -
