• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hello,

I am new to the community and thought it would be a great idea to get to know the community by creating this thread. Does anyone have any tips for me as I start my journey on the server?

try doing things you probably won't regret, but at the same time, don't be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. be kind and polite, and others here will do the same. when doing anything, it's a smart idea to join a faction and get ideas from experienced members. pvp takes some time to get gud, read the wiki before roleplaying to get a good grasp on the lore. don't be hesitate to ask for help, don't put too much on your plate, and overall, try and enjoy yourself!

good advise. one thing i have seen countless times is that:
1. people new to massive think dia stuff is really hard to get and doesn't help enough to be worth it. dia blocks are 10r each, which means that if you /vote you can get 10 at least. very ez
2. people sometimes want to jump out there and start a faction, and end up creating a faction without any clue to what they are doing or even what the server is like. start out by joining a faction and staying with it until you understand most of the commands and can travel considerable distances in the wild alone without death. also make sure you are familiar with the economy (you have made some more expensive transactions) and familiar with the roleplay aspect. overall, leading a faction is for experienced players, and if you are not ready your faction will not last long.
3. you have made a good step by joining the forums. be sure to read up a little on the plugins and be aware that massive is very unique. its not SMP, its not RP, its not factions, its not PvP, its Massive.

my faction is looking for recruits btw, and would love to have you. we don't have a HUGE amount of players, but we have some.

as for doing things you wouldn't regret, the biggest thing i can think of would be commitment. don't try something big unless you know you can carry it through. other than that, you will regret being a jerk and stealing/cheating. have fun!
